very good ns game。
such great quality and value for your money. worth every penny
Despite my low expectations for this controller, I became eager during the unboxing, but was later highly disappointed when attempting to connect it to my PS5. There's a ton of potential for this controller. The physical buttons are nice and the adjustable trigger stop feature is genius. However, none of this matters if the controller is unable to connect to the console or computer, which occurred in my case. And I know that there is no mention of Playstation at all both in the listing of the controller or the manuals, but I wanted to try it out anyways. So I wasn't completely let-down, that was, until I found out that I couldn't get it to work with my Acer gaming laptop either. My computer recognized the controller as a mouse, and even when I overcame that issue, it still did nothing when I messed around with the buttons. It's likely I've got a lemon.
Most glaring issues / unpleasant surprises when first using: 1. Uses microUSB to charge [Image 1] This makes no sense: both the Switch itself and Pro Controller use USB-C (as well as every other Switch peripheral I have ever seen). This is probably the most annoying/surprising thing. Also, the port is recessed fairly deep in the controller making it harder to use other microUSB cables one may have. 2. Doesn't show power level on the Controllers screen [Image 2 - it is the Pro Controller Icon with no battery beneath it] How to know battery state until it is basically dead? This seems a woeful oversight. Other minor issues and notes: 3. As mentioned in other reviews, four buttons have switched places with each other from the standard Pro Controller: + and Home, as well as - and Screenshot. I personally find that this configuration actually makes more sense (since being lower down makes the +/- more quickly & easily accessible and I find I use those buttons more often in "real-time gaming" than the Home/Screenshot). The issue to me is simply that it is different from the standard that I have gotten used to - alas, if only Nintendo has used this layout from the start :-) 4. Also mentioned in other reviews, the programmable buttons on the backside are very easy to hit accidentally. Taking out the removable plate that constitutes the buttons resolves the issue though, and I did not find the empty space that remained as annoying or uncomfortable as some others have noted (though I did only test with a relatively short play session of ~45 min). 5. Glow-in-the-Dark [Image 3] Others have complained that the glow feature doesn't work - I did not find this to be the case! I left it by the window on a sunny afternoon (though not in direct sunlight) for ~1-2h, took it into my pitch-black bathroom, and was able to clearly see the glow. I'm not sure how bright it would be when gaming at night in a room with other ambient light (TV screen/lamps) though. Also, only the front of the controller glows (not the solid-yellow shoulder buttons that one might have expected to as well). It should also be noted that only the pattern of stars glow, so the feature is not going to help you find the buttons themselves (see image - you can't really make out any buttons). May update when I have a better idea of how bright the glow can actually get / how visible it is under nighttime play conditions. -------------- Other notes: - I've had the controller for about a day / hour of playtime. May update if I find a solution/workaround to the battery display issue. - Some other reviews noted that the size of the controller feels off/different than standard Pro Controller; I neither noticed any size discrepancy nor found it to be a problem. Otherwise, if you are OK with issues noted above and like the design, I would recommend it! - And I am someone who typically sticks only to 1st-party Nintendo accessories.
This controller was a pleasant surprise on the quality and performance. I had my avid gamer boyfriend who is picky about his controllers test it out and he said it was actually a really great controller with nice features. He liked the click of the buttons and the short stop feature on the L&R buttons. He was weary of the raised D pad but found that it felt very responsive and also liked the click there. He said the price is phenomenal for the quality, especially if there’s a sale (currently 15% off) It paired very easily to the Nintendo switch and to my IPhone using the toggle on the back. The con is if you are interested in any of the customization features they claim can be done such as changing the light, button sensitivity, and mapping, good luck! I downloaded the required app on my iPhone and was able to pair the controller but that’s it. I’ve hit a roadblock on the app where there doesn’t seem to be any way of actually doing anything. It’s possible this might work through a PC but the fact you have to go through so much trouble to possibly customize these features is a bit annoying. For now the controller works great right out of the box and most likely won’t worry about the customization part of it.
This item is really nice. Been able to mess around with it, using different platforms and games. Takes a little getting used to, but all in all, I am happy with this. I love the joystick!
Innovative action jrpg. Lots of fun. Generally a good game, but amazing in the context of it being a 20hr prelude/prequel to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes coming out on April 23, 2024!
Finally managed to find a brand new US copy for my Nintendo Switch at a decent price (still a little over msrp but far less than the true idiot scalpers are trying to sell for).
Got this set for my daughters switch lite and it's very cute. The straps are well made and all look like they will last a long time. The strap velcro inside to help hold the switch down doesn't work unfortunately. This could have just been bad luck and I can honestly fix it myself without much effort. Everything did have a strong plastic smell at first and they did include a scent thing to try to help with this. My daughter didn't like it so we just let everything air out.
Likes: - No Audio Lag - Easy to setup (I didn't even read the instructions) - Lightweight - Pouch is great for traveling - USB adapter is good for PC Dislikes: - Gap between console and BT adapter - Does feel a little cheaply made but it's not too bad - No plastic adapter piece to fill in the gap Overall, I haven't had any issues with this. Have had it for a few days and to seriously test it, played Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, a rhythm game on the Switch if you're not familiar with it. I wasn't able to notice any lag with audio and my inputs so all in all, if you're OK with that little gap or can make something to fill it in so that it doesn't feel like you're going to break it when you stand the console on a table, then this is worth it.
It's runs great, with a lot of trails/tutorials to do. Lots of unlockables such as avatars, plates, colors. Story mode has 4 different parts to it. While the story itself isn't deep, it is hilarious and the voice acting is pretty well done. With being $50 instead of $60, it is a good price for a new release. And it is portable. *one of the characters in the picture is DLC.
My son has waited to get the switch cause he wanted this game...so when he saw this he was in love! I was worried when I preordered it that I would still not be able to get it(that has happened before) but it arrived the next day! It said 4-5 day shipping but I was able to change it to free 2 day. It does cost more than buying both separately, but you are buying this edition set so I think it is worth it.
Me and my son love it, it’s pricey but worth it even comes with another holder for more game storage just didn’t take a picture of it definitely recommend :)
I really really liked this game but for some reason after playing for a long time the game crashes when teleporting or just going from one place to the other and omg you loading is so long you can go to the kitchen get a snack and come back it still going stay away game is defective.
