I am having such a blast with this game! From the start the story is enticing just like the previous Dragon Quests before this one! Looks amazing on the OLED screen! Game runs smooth, fun combat, companions and so much more! Wish it came with the deluxe version for physical so I ended up upgrading in the eshop 😕 Not sure why this game isn’t getting as much hype atm, so good!
What a scam says it’s gonna be day one addition but it’s just the normal copy. Don’t buy!!!
These are a darker red, not the original neon red that comes with the blue controller. See Photo -- controllers on the left are the ones i purchased, controller on the right is the original neon red
This is the all-around fun game if you like age of calamity, you will love this game as well. A lot of playable characters Zelda, always fire and my boy Link is always on his game.
First thing to note is that if you have giant man-hands then you may get finger/hand cramps when playing in handheld mode due to precise button presses. Best to play in TV or desktop mode, preferably with the Pro Controller if you have it (joy con with joy con grip accessory works well also). Essentially the port of Azure Striker Gun Volt 1 & 2 from 3DS in one game cartridge. There's slightly upgraded graphics and HD rumble. Graphics is more of a nice coat of new paint instead of a re-master, still have the 16-bit look and feel to it. HD rumble is not as pronounced, just present as the devs don't utilize it to it's potential. You do get all DLC fro Azure Striker Gun Volt 2, but only accessible when you unlock the true ending of the game. Not easy to swap between the games though as you have to go to home screen, close the program, and open again. Now lets go through the games for those who haven't played them before. Azure Sticker Gun Volt 1: Has a Mega Man type feel to it. 2D action platformer where you defeat the 6 robot masters in any order. What differentiates the game from Mega Man is that there's an RPG upgrade system and there are a lot of dialogue between characters during gameplay. There is no English voice option (only subtitles) so it can be distracting when fighting enemies in a fast paced game, and reading text at the same time; especially when it's your first time through the levels. Battle system is also slightly different than Mega Man. You still get a gun, but there's an electric AOE attack you can use for massive damage or unlock switches. . To do max damage on enemies with this attack you must tag or shoot them first with your gun. The electric attack is on a meter so you have to keep an eye on it as it re-charges overtime. You can also stop and double tap the down button, but it slows down progress and leaves you vulnerable to attack. If you fully deplete the meter (overcharge the attack), it'll takes time to recharge. Aside from this, you get a dash and counter move (also uses meter). The game mechanics takes time to get used to, but overtime it becomes second nature You get parts or upgrades for defeating enemies, bosses and completing optional challenges. Which in part can be a grind as some are random drops. There's also a level system where you get increase stats each time you level up Azure Stricker Gun Volt 2 is more streamline. More dialogue and story, easier in difficulty, has a new playable character Copen. You need to play Gunvolt 1 before 2 to enjoy the story as it picks up right at the end of Gunvolt 1 and doesn't give you a recap. Gunvolt now has special moves that uses up a new meter SP instead of EP that can potentially do a screen clearing attack. Each special move also has a cooldown, so you can't string together the same special twice Copen unlike Gunvolt has different abilities. He doesn't have electrical attacks, but has a dash attack an enemy to tag them and do massive damage with his guns before touching the ground. Copen gun bullets is on a meter similar to Gunvolt's electrical attacks. Copen also has special, but limited to two: heal and a one screen clearing attack Main campaign is shorter than Gunvolt 1, but has a more difficult rating system/challenges for replay-ability. There is Amiibo support for Gunvolt 2 as if you tap a Shovel Knight amiibo you can face against him in a boss battle Overall, if you own the game in the past it's not worth it to double dip unless you're a collector, or abandoned your 3DS. For those who haven't played these games before it's an excellent side scrolling action platformer that will test your twitch reflexes and quick judgement
I’m very excited for this one! It’s the first two Tony Hawk games but remastered! The package came early and intact. It also works perfectly! Recommend 10/10 :)
It came in everything looked all good I love it there were some bumps on the box but doesn't change much but would recommend
The Hawksbill handheld controller for Switch has become my favourite for its simplicity -- as an adult casual gamer, I couldn't care less about RGB lights or macro buttons, so the lack of "bells and whistles" suits me just fine. But this controller focuses its efforts where it counts. Most similar controllers are made to work with both the original and OLED versions of the Switch, and they simply have an OLED-sized slot that leaves a gap on either side of the narrower original Switch (if you manage to keep it centered in the first place). In contrast, the Hawksbill is sized for the OLED, but has switch-operated plastic bumpers that come out and act as guides when inserting an original Switch. I also like the shape of the Hawsbill's grips -- they're narrower than others and have a more pronounced radius that feels similar to a Pro Controller, which I find more comfortable than bulbous alternatives. The buttons, triggers, and joysticks all feel fine to me despite what other reviewers say, but I'll be the first to admit that gaming is not a "serious" endeavour for me. The USB-C port on the bottom of the controller is clearly labeled as "charging port," and I can confirm that it's exactly that -- USB-C peripherals that work with the Switch will not work when connected through the controller's port, so look elsewhere if this is important to you. Lastly, I'm happy with this controller, but while writing this review, I noticed that the seller Hawksbill Gaming has at least three separate listings for it -- they're all priced differently, so shop around for the best deal if you like what you see.
The PowerA Lumectra controller offers a great feel and experience for a 3rd party controller option. However you will be missing out on some more notable features that other controllers have in turn. Pros: Wake up the console from the controller. Many third party controllers lack the ability to wake the console from sleep using the controller, but this one can do it! It's a little thing but it's my favorite little thing. RGB Lighting - The controller lighting is divided into 4 zones that you can toggle through to customize and adjust. Everything from using one of a few different lighting modes, brightness and color, to the speed of the lighting mode. This allows you to set various colors and effects to the different quadrants of the controller customizing it to your personal preferences. Buttons and feel - The controller feels really good in the hands and the buttons feel responsive and accurate. Analogs have a nice texture lending to a slip free touch. Gyro: Works perfectly. No issues in my testing. In fact compared to other 3rd party controllers, the gyro in this is perfectly compared to the official pro controller. Extra long USB cable include - The cable is long! 10 feet in fact. Perfect for when the battery dies but you want to squeeze in that extra bit of gameplay. Programmable back buttons on the grip. Cons: (These are listed in the product description but it's easy to miss.) No Amiibo support No Rumble Battery life is shorter at 20 hours, and I suspect that is with the RGB turned off. If you are using RGB, expect a shorter time. I used mine for about 16 hours before recharging, and I had the RGB turned on in all quadrants, at full brightness. Personally I don't see this as too much of a con because my longest game session will average around 12 hours, and I always charge my controller when I am done. Confusing RGB programming - Setting up the RGB and customizing it requires a lot of patience and learning. The instructions aren't as clear, giving mainly pictures. You just have to play around with it and learn it slowly. If clearer instruction were provided, this wouldn't be a con. Other notes and thoughts: I really like this controller. For my switch I have about 15 different controllers now, ranging from the official Pro controller, the 8bitdo Pro controller, and some no major name controllers. When I have company over to play Mario Kart or Smash Bros, this will be one of the controllers I have out. Wasn't sure if I should put this in the cons section because it could just be the unit I received, so instead I will just add it here in the other thoughts. Some sections of the lighting seem much much dimmer than others, and some spots have "hot spots" in the lighting. Hard to capture in photos because of light exposer, photography blah blah blahs. I know many people will be looking so I will just lay out here that the analogs and buttons are NOT Hall Effect. It's not listed as a feature, which most companies will list it if it is. Just something to be mindful of. Overall I am really really happy with this. HD rumble is a bit of a bummer, amiibo I seldom use (only if I am material farming in Zelda). But the quality, feel and features that do exist make this a solid 4.5/5 for me in the controller line up. Good work PowerA!
This is an amazing product, basically it's the future of gaming in a way. It's augmented reality with a physical kart to drive through your house... in whatever type or style of course you design. If you dont have a single room big enough for a track you can link rooms together for a giant course. It works exactly as its described. My entire family is having incredible fun playing this. The kids are coming up with all kinds of ideas for courses and ways to decorate them with their toys. The possibilities are only limited by the amount of imagination put into your track design. This is a great product from start to finish. The only drawback is that there is no physical copy of the game, so I wonder what happens two generations of gaming consoles in the future. It requires internet connection to play, so when nintendo shuts off the servers for the switch in 10 or so years... will it just be a toy to put on a shelf and collect dust? In the present year of 2021, it's totally worth the 90 or so dollars. If scalpers raise the price it wont be worth it, but at Nintendo's price it is a great purchase. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is due to it not including a physical copy of the game itself.
Gor my order today! So excited for these games to arrive. I just included pictures of all three I purchased. Everything was nice and new. No problems and it looked well packaged. Excited to play, hopefully there are not any glitches. I know sometimes there are reviews about that. I recently bought the Harry Potter lego switch game and multiple people said there were glitches, I didn't have any! So far no problems ordering switch games off of akiya-switch.com. It's so convenient. Love the fast shipping. Will update review after games are played. Update- Just played the yoshi game, it definitely brings back childhood memories from shooting the egg and aiming at enemies and jumping. I love yoshi, it's a very cute game. It is perfect for yoshis Island lovers like myself and is also perfect for kids. It's so happy with the music and colors and cute backgrounds and levels. It's absolutely adorable
It arrive very fast and there were no damage or issues about the game
Bought this Nintendo Switch charging station it was a bit pricey but worth every penny. Charges joy cons, pro controllers and Pokeballs. Also holds games and makes your Nintendo Switch just look amazing in any room or living room
There was no cartridge inside the box.
Got just what I wanted! 💕💕
