This is the cutest thing ever, it’s better quality than I expected as well!!! So cute and I love love love it! It came in such a cute box and with such cute stickers! I’m literally keeping box on my gaming shelf hahah
Was half expecting a average quality Chinese 3rd party controller, but got a very well built finished product, dare I say this could rival Razer's accessories. The box and packaging was well designed and well package to give a premium feel, though I wish they included the wireless charging pad as seen in the advertisement, but it does not come with it. Imagine the gaming clicky mechanical wireless keyboard with extra re-mappable keys on the side, that's what this thing is. Physically this thing functions really smooth. Every button from XYAB, D-Pad, index finger buttons, macros, to fn keys are all very responsive and clicky. You feel absolutely when the key has register and the latency is unnoticeable for the average joe. The aesthetics and lights are pleasing enough such that it looks good and does not drain the battery and is used as a feature to indicate what mode it is in. One thing I wish they did with the lights is make it indicate the battery life as there is no way to tell what the charge is unless if I have it connected to the switch. Connectivity wise, switching modes to pair with the Switch and my Win 11 device was fast and easy while reading the manual. There are so many buttons and shortcuts on this thing that it was overwhelming at first. But, one by one I was able to slowly remember it with the manual next to me to change the modes, set macros, and adjust vibration settings. Vibration on this controller is slightly above average, nothing as strong as wired controllers but reasonable given that it runs on batteries. So far I have use this for around 30m a day every day for a week and it is still holding up at over 90%, so battery wise it's decent. This thing absolutely slays when it comes to combo heavy games where you need to get the accurate feel of button registration as the travel distance is very small and the tactile clicky feel is very accurate. It almost feels like you are clicking a mouse. The joy sticks are smooth and has very gentle resistance during usage to give a smooth gaming experience. The macros can record the joystick in combination with button registration. Needless to say this instantly became my main controller. The only downside I have with this controller is that it's a dust and oil magnet due to the decently grippy sides and the plastic casing they use. If they can improve the material of the controller's casing it would definitively make it a AAA accessory. Overall, at $56 during time of review I can easily recommend this to people looking for a main controller that is tactile, clicky, has low latency, and can do it all it comes to what platforms to connect to because it is very versatile. I'd easily buy this device if needed as it's cheaper than Nintendo's pro controller, feels better, is more competitive, and works on multiple platforms. Will update if this thing ever gives out, but even if the battery gives out you can use it wired, so the real question is when the joy sticks or the casing will give out.
The Nintendo Labo is one of the most innovative ways to enhance gameplay I’ve seen in a long time. While I am an adult, I love building, decorating, and designing things so Labo seemed like the perfect game for me. The kit comes with five toy-cons you can build: two RC cars, a fishing rod, a house, a motorbike (handle), and a piano. Each one has small parts to go with it as well, like strings, rubber bands, and marker stickers. It also comes with the cartridge for the game. Most people are apprehensive about Nintendo’s use of cardboard but I think it’s actually better than making plastic add-ons. For one, it is easier and cheaper to replace. More importantly, it is better for the environment and it can be disposed of when children outgrow it, rather than sitting around collecting dust. The cardboard is actually quite sturdy and high quality. As long as it is not outright mishandled, I think it will do a good job holding up. Additionally, I love the ability to customize your toy-con to suit your tastes and make it unique to you. Making the cardboard structures is incredibly fun--reminiscent of putting Lego together. For anyone worried about the strength of the toy-con, there are actually a lot of reinforcing pieces that help make certain otherwise flimsier parts more sturdy. Cute, witty comments pop up while you make your toy-cons, guiding you through the process while occasionally cracking jokes, making it feel very human. The Discover section is a fantastic place to learn more about the engineering behind the toy-cons. Three characters converse and guide you through the science behind the genius of Labo. You can view cutaways of the toy-con and test the IR camera in a particular mode. There are also sections on easily repairing broken toy-con, troubleshooting, and creative ways to customize. There is even basic physics learning involved with certain joy-con--no doubt a good way to get children into physics. Toy-con garage is the best part about the kit. It works through very simple input-output coding. You put in an input (pressing a button for example), select an output from a list, and connect the two to make the switch create the output. I love that this gives kids the ability to make their own toys, which will no doubt spark a love for engineering and design within the next generation. There are a ton of different things to explore and secrets to find within the game. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves to use their hands and be creative!
I really love this case! It is an officially licensed Nintendo item and is the same and shape as the Green Leaf case seen in Target. It caught my attention because Gracie the giraffe is featured and I LOOOOOVE giraffes. I saw in a review that the case smelled fishy, but I took a chance. When I opened the product I did notice a distinct fish-like scent from inside the case. I'm assuming it's the material used, but I didn't notice the scent when looking at the other bag in Target. I put some dryer sheets to try and help remove the scent, and it has slightly helped, but not completely. Keep that in mind if you're interested in this case. Besides that, it's a beautiful case and I love it very much.
Fun! If your into RPGS
Great color to go with the main body of the Switch. In fact, I like these even better than my custom clear Joy-Cons. Edit: The problem with all Joy-Cons is that after a while, the little lock stopper mechanism wears down or chips, meaning your controller will slide off the Switch if you apply some pressure. One might even speculate that Nintendo intentionally ships these knowing they wear out quickly so as to keep the Joy-Con sales up... I've gone through three sets since the Switch came out and it doesn't matter how careful you are, eventually that little spring-loaded stopped wears out. Here's hoping they produce a Gen 2 of these eventually.
Got this for my brothers birthday. When we took it out the box and set everything up it never turned on or worked. Got a defective item and wish I could get a replacement but the return process is so long and hefty…
Broken and chewed up sd card slot wasted money on 3 different sd cards I was sent a defective device
I was really enjoying the game and trying to understand the game mechanics. The game is story based but they have a Investigation Mode I guess that reminds my of Disgaea. However everytime I get the portion that allows me to finish the sequence I get the software error message. This happened twice before I just stopped playing because my saves weren't saving either. All in all I wouldn't buy till this is fixed. I even updated my Switch before playing. Very Disappointed
You need Superman to unlock certain things in the game, so you might as well get him. His vehicle seems kinda pointless since he already flies and they just wanted to add something with him. But like I said you need him for things.
This game is absolutely amazing! Most times during story mode, I thought I was actually watching the series. The graphics are impeccable! The story scenes weren't overkill, yet does a marvelous job of keeping your attention. Controlling the characters is a very smooth and easy task, and I would definitely recommend checking it out! *chef's kiss* 💋👌🏽
I got this for my sister, but was shocked to find a plastic dummy cartridge in the game case.
Personally I am not a big fan of Sriracha because I can't handle spice too well. However, I really liked the overall vibe of this controller design and I had picked up a Switch case from Hyperkin recently that was very nice quality, so I thought I would give this a chance. I was looking for a controller I could use for online games. This worked for me with Roblox. I played through an obby. My only complaint was that it was a little more sensitive with the factory settings, and sometimes the movement would be too fast, so it took a little getting used to. The controller feels pretty sturdy. I like the way the buttons feel while I am playing games. I like the size and the style of the controller also. I mean, what else is there to say? This works and it looks cool too. Hyperkin makes quality products with cool brands advertised on them.
it's good for mobile, tv gaming, console and all but.... i need either a better inside one or tech support. my start, l3, r3, and hyper button all do not work. hoping to map it in but it does not allow with what I'm tinkering with and all so.. my hyperkin cube is solid red when noticed before it was not but clueless fiddling. switching between pro and xpad, noticed it's all good but the photos here show the green around the border only.. as a consumer, this is a thoughtful design
This game is making it's way into my Trails collection. I really enjoy that this deluxe edition comes with extra goodies for fans. Great game!
