Not only are the color waves constantly and flowingly changing beautifully, but it works like a DREAM. Best controller I have ever owned and a huge value for your money.
This product is not what they advertise it to be! It is a UK copy that isn’t even in English. That is problematic in the states due to Nintendo’s eShop restrictions.
I originally played this on the Wii years ago. Unfortunately, when I bought the switch I got a free game and mistakenly picked this instead of XC2. My bad lol.. Well either way it is worth a review. The series as a whole is just amazing. I have since played and finished XC2 and XC3. It is hard for me to rank them though. Luckily you do not have to play them in order to enjoy as each one is it's own entity. Anyone who is a fan of JRPGs needs to play this series!
--- Pros --- Solid build quality. 3 different connections (Wired USB, Bluetooth, included 2.4 dongle) Customizable RGBs. Customizable buttons. Nice feeling joysticks. Toggleable triggers. Headphone jack. --- Cons --- No phone holder accessory offered (yet). Cannot store dongle in the controller. ABXY buttons are not the same as D-pad buttons. --- Thoughts --- Very nice controller out of box. Plastic but sturdy build. Has textured grips and triggers. Very comfortable to hold and use for long periods, may be slightly big and heavy for smaller hands. The joysticks are a joy to use. Very fluid and nice to move around. There is a default of 10 for deadspace on the GameSir Connect software; Lower it to 6 or 5 for less deadspace. Weirdly, the ABXY buttons have the a slightly sponge-like feel, but the D-pad has a nice mechanical keyboard click. Would prefer if both were clicky. Analog triggers feel great all the way through. Switching it to micro switch mode gives it a very nice instant click feel. Works right out of box for supported games on mobile, consoles, and PC. For non natively supported games on mobile, the GameSir App helps with mapping. Sadly it did not come with a phone holder, nor can I find one in stock officially, but I found a thingiverse model that I printed to work with the famed Modular Mounting System (thingiverse item #5619802) Really wish it could store the wireless dongle inside the controller when not in use. Might design something to hold the dongle to the controller in the future. Overall, a great controller for daily gaming.
I had to buy the game twice for it was just the case as of the photo but as of the game itself it is one of the best games in the Zelda franchise.
Great product!!! Long lasting battery and came in great condition and fast shipping!
First off lets just say I've been a friday the 13th fan for a long time.and this game is amazing great game play and akiya-switch.com had it cheaper then any were else delivery was on time like always.😊
Let's start with the good things: The customizability of this controller is awesome. I love the swappable face button modules. The clicky D-pad is excellent. The faceplate attaches with magnets, so it's easy to swap the parts. There is some real innovation here. This is all positive, but there are some hoops I had to jump through to get things working the way I wanted. I'll explain: I game on both PC and Switch, and use gyro aiming a lot. The controller is supposed to support both platforms as well as gyro aiming, and it does, but it requres some software changes using the Beitong software before it works correctly. Since gaming on Steam only supports gyro aiming using a Switch or PS4/DualSense controller, we need to use this controller in Switch mode if we want gyro aiming. Unfortunately, the controller has its gyro mapped to the right analog stick by default. This needs to be disabled using the Beitong software, otherwise the controller will send gyro input through the right analog stick, making right analog stick calibration impossible. This happens in both Steam and on an actual Switch console. Turning off the gyro switch on the bottom of the controller doesn't fix this without the software adjustment. I also don't like how the lights flash on the controller whenever it receives haptic/vibration input. It's super distracting and it can only be turned off using the Beitong software. Once the software adjustments are made, the controller works very well. I just wish I didn't have to install software to configure the controller for what should be basic functionality.
I love playing RDR and undead nightmare!! Used to play this all the time on PS3 and I must say that the graphics on the Switch are so much better! I got the game Sold By: Strawberri Entertainment and have no issues with the product. Love this game and so happy Nintendo is porting older games onto the Switch with updated graphics. My only real complaint is that the Switch version does not come with the online play. That’s what I played the most on the PS3 version, so you can only play through the storyline. But still worth it with the updated graphics!
I purchased my Steam Deck from 'RocketDrop LLC' since they were located in the same state as me, only 25 minutes away, thinking I would get it a lot sooner. Haha, that wasn't the case. But regardless it only took about 6 days total..due to them being a bit slow on the ball with getting it shipped out. No big deal. Its awesome. I unfortunately haven't gotten the chance to play it as much as I'd like but from what I have this thing is amazing, which I knew it would be. It's like having a low to low/mid tier gaming rig in your hands (and if you don't have a PC right now due to astronomical prices for components it's your best option right now) I bought mine at $443.99, only a $45 difference from the steam store wasn't a big deal. It gave me the chance to use my akiya-switch.com gift card towards it. But looking at the current price of the 64GB on here at the time of me writing this (3/13/23).. it's listed for $520, guess I jumped at the right time. At that price just grab the 256GB from the steam store for $529 tbh. Moving onto the size (64GB). Yeah, it's not a lot of space at all especially if you're looking to put AAAs on it. For now you can just get a good microSD card (U3, A2)..the load time differences between the SD card and the SSD are negligible at best, it's not a big deal. eMMc also isn't incredibly slower than NVMe..its slower, yeah. But nothing crazy. And if these things are a big deal the great thing about these things is that you can just go and buy a 512GB-1TB 2230 m.2 NVMe SSD, pop open the back and swap it out. Just watch the video on ifixit, one of the tons of videos on YouTube or even ValvE has a video on how to replace the current 64Gb drive for the bigger upgraded NVMe SSD (make sure it is a 2230 form factor). I eventually plan on doing this myself but for now will stick with using my SD card since like I mentioned - the difference in load times is negligible. It'll just be easier to not deal with shader cache storage from games taking up my space, etc. But I'm not too worried about it right now. At first I was kind of on the fence on purchasing from here. There weren't a ton of reviews and there were a few bad reviews about a screen issue, a used device, etc. Alot of this depends on the specific seller (which you can choose in the drop down and check the sellers reviews of their store). But mine was flawless, brand new in box, plastic still on the deck and the zippers had the Valve tag still locking them closed - as you can see in one of my pictures. (Sorry I didn't take a photo of it running beyond the start up screen) I'm glad that within the last 5 weeks many more have purchased from akiya-switch.com and in their reviews have had a positive experience with their Decks too. I've also seen from Valve that the Steam Deck warranties are interchangeable and if you ever develop an issue you can RMA it to Valve to fix it even though it was purchased new through akiya-switch.com. Ok, this is long enough lol. Honestly at this current price point of $520. Just get it at Valve and wait the extra week - I also noticed some sellers who were selling this at $430-450 a month ago are now even selling it for $599 🤦. After the seller with the $520 steak decks are gone..I think the next cheapest seller was at around $548. That's insane but obviously up to all of you. Still a great buy when I snagged it last month and I'm very happy with it. The fact that I can play AAA MMOs in the palm of my hands at a steady 30+ FPS..not even on low settings is insane to me. And for less than $450 (not talking about aya neo, GPD, One player, etc who charge astronomical prices for their devices)
It is good choice
Some people complained that the title has bad grammar. Let me explain. This was done on purpose. It's to clue us in on the fact that the world we are about to enter is messed up. Pros. I love the art style and the colors. It looks like traditional water colors mixed with digital. The music is something I can definitely chill to. The Switch version is not censored like the PS4 version. If you want an uncensored version this is version to get. Unfortunately Sony decided to go all SJW Woke on us. Please see some of my screen shots. Yep no censorship detected on the Switch version. The voice acting is pretty solid. The keychain is adorable! I like how it can be used as a purse charm or a phone charm as well. Oh and FYI the Keychain is inside the game case! The art book is pretty damn cool as well. Like I said before the art is good. It also contains bios for each of the characters. The meh. The story isn't bad. It can be a little fan servicey at times. Some folks may consider the main protagonist boring with little to no personality. But you have to keep in mind that this guy is meant to be "you". Cons. No English dub. English text only with Japanese dub. Just a little FYI. Final thoughts. This game is a Mature rated Visual Novel. It's not for everybody. It's not like an X rated movie, more like a R rated movie. A lot of innuendo but nothing explicit. This game may bore some gamers because there are no action sequences. If you are planning on getting this game, I highly recommend getting the Day One Edition if you can, because you get more bang for your buck. The Day One Edition has an art book and a keychain. It costs the same amount as the regular and digital versions.
Looks amazing with the matte Red-Joycons!!!! I'm glad that I got the bundle! It came on they day it was predicted to and came a few hours ahead of schedule :D. Everything thing is there and in working order. The system is fast and efficient, with all the apps. Updating took about 5 or so seconds. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because it comes with a digital code instead of pre-installed or physical and that it lacks a screen protector. The special edition case looks nice, though you could find better cases on akiya-switch.com. Honestly, if you have the $412.39 or so depending or location + 2 day shipping, you won't regret it. It's $10-15 cheaper if you buy the system and game separate but it's your call. From what I can tell, this buyer seems quite reliable, so don't be afraid of getting scammed. I haven't done much on it yet, so not much more to say, but I highly recommend getting a screen protector to protect the screen from possible scratching in the dock. Also invest in silicon Joy-Con sleeves to protect them from years of use. To leave on a positive note, this was a satisfying purchase. Highly recommend you get this while you can or wait until Black Friday when it'll be around $50 cheaper. I can not wait to spend my weekend playing Super Mario Odyssey! :P
The GuliKit KK3 is roughly the size and shape of Nintendo's own Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, including the asymmetrical analog stick layout. I'll talk more about these analog sticks in a moment, because they deserve their own breakdown. The grips on either side have a nice textured feel on the back, and the overall weight felt about on par with Nintendo's controller, perhaps maybe a slight bit lighter. However, the overall shape and feel actually reminded me a lot of the Xbox One Pro controller, which is good company to be in, in my opinion - like that controller, I found the GuliKit KK3 to be extremely comfortable. The analog sticks on the GuliKit KK3 use TMR (Tunneling Magnetoresistance) technology, which is more accurate and more power-efficient compared to what is increasingly becoming the industry standard, hall effect analog sticks. While I only reviewed one controller with this feature in 2024, I'm already starting to see a fair number of controllers make use of the feature in 2025, and I'm definitely pleased to see this is the case, as that 2024 controller was the GameSir Tarantula Pro Wireless Controller, which I named as a runner-up in the Best Hardware category in last year's eShopperReviews Game Awards. The difference in quality compared to Hall Effect sticks is only likely to be noticed by the most detail-oriented players like competitive pro gamers, but by most accounts it's the best way to do analog sticks, and avoids the problem with "drift" you get on traditional analog sticks. The D-Pad and face buttons on the KK3 feel like a good balance of "squishy" and "clicky", and feel reasonably responsive and accurate, with the L and R shoulder buttons being clicky and feeling just right. The ZL and ZR trigger buttons are full analog buttons, which is great for use with other platforms, but less than ideal for use on Nintendo Switch, which cannot recognize analog input and this style of trigger means that play with these will be a tad less responsive. The plus, minus, screenshot, and home buttons are all in their standard places, and in addition to these is a settings button dead-center, which also doubles as a turbo button. The turbo functionality works in the typical style of this sort of button, but players can also use this button to adjust the rumble (it's not HD rumble, but I find that adjustable rumble is an acceptable substitute), as well as to optionally remove the "dead zone" from the analog sticks, an excellent feature that you don't often see in Nintendo Switch controllers. As for other standard features, this controller has good gyroscopic motion control, and can wake the Nintendo Switch from sleep mode, but it doesn't include Amiibo-scanning capability, though this is rare in third-party Nintendo Switch controllers. If this particular feature is really important to you, you may want to look over at the GuliKit KK2 T Wireless Controller, which actually does include this feature, for $10 more. As for non-standard features, a lot of the bells and whistles you see on other controllers aren't present here - there's no programmable macro buttons, no app support, and no USB dongle (though oddly, one of the selectable platforms is listed as "D", which has me thinking that maybe this was at one time intended to have one?). However, that last omission actually leads me to one other excellent feature in the KK3. Like many third-party Nintendo Switch controllers, the KK3 is also compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS devices, and I was able to test all of these except iOS. And to my surprise, the connection to both Windows and Android devices was excellent, regardless of what connection method I used. Many multiplatform Nintendo Switch controllers really need a USB dongle to get a good wireless connection to PC, but this one does it easily just using Bluetooth, which in other controllers I find to result in a laggy connection, but not here. What's more, by double-tapping the platform button, you can quickly switch to your preferred platform of choice one after the other, with the individual setting remembered by the controller. Just tapping the button a few times instantly disconnected me from my PC and connected to Nintendo Switch. Honestly, the only complaints I have about the GuliKit KK3 Wireless Controller are the things it's missing - things like Amiibo scanning, macro buttons, and app support, as well as analog triggers that, while not bad, are going to be better for play on platforms other than Nintendo Switch. But overall, this is a superb controller that feels great, has nice responsive buttons, includes the excellent TMR analog sticks, and wireless platform-swapping with no need for a dongle. I don't think it's the most exciting controller in the world, but at a mid-range price point, this is a solid choice
