Mario has always been present in my life. My first serious interactions that my memory recalls is from Super Smash Bros Melee, he was the headliner, the face of Nintendo, but I still would rather play as Link. I dabbled here and there with the 2D games often getting too frustrated with them and not feeling enough of a hook to continue with the harder levels, let alone beat the whole game. My first Mario game that I really played through and throughly enjoyed was Mario Odyssey. A great 3D plat-former. I wouldn’t put it up there with my all time favorites but I had a great time with it. When Nintendo revealed Super Mario Bros Wonder back a few months ago, I shrugged it off and made no plans to play it (I was salty about the lack of a Wind Waker port announcement being made on Switch and still am). But I had been hearing some buzz about it and thought I’d pick it up as a birthday gift to myself sense I hadn’t been playing any games as of late. All that to say, this game is simply wonderful. “Wonder” was the perfect title for this game. It had such a sense of joy, and glee about its creativity and is a celebration of what Mario is. You really get a sense of how much everyone who worked on this game really love what they do. They made something truly special. The gameplay is tight, responsive, challenging, and a blast to play. The level design is out of this world creative, second to none, can’t think of a game that has done it better, the graphics are gorgeous, and the music is perfect. I’m not the best at 2D platformers so I struggled with a few of the levels, and I can’t really compare the difficulty level with this and other Mario’s, but I’m going to have to go back and play some other 2D titles now. Overall, I highly recommend this game. It’s a joy to play and really brings back what games are supposed to be about: fun gameplay and a fun experience with none of the strings attached like the rest of the gaming landscape right now. 10/10

  • We have an array of controllers ranging from original Xbox controllers, JoyCon, up to the Xbox Elite 2. I consider my Elite 2 to be the top of the chain, Xbox in the middle and JoyCon at the bottom. For the “Game’Nir Prox-Dragon Pro, it connected to the Switch without issue. Compared to my Xbox controller, there is a distinct difference in feel. Be aware the triggers are analog not actual triggers - they are like the JoyCon controllers, which given that this is market as a Switch controller, is not surprising. Depending on the game, this could be an issue outside of the Switch. The buttons have a hard click to them. While my Xbox controllers click, there is a difference in the feel. Same compared to the JoyCon controllers. The joysticks have a lot of tension on them compared to XBox/JoyCon controllers. I suspect all of this will affect the longevity of the switches. All said and done, it works wirelessly with the Switch as advertised. I wouldn’t recommend it as a PC controller unless you are looking for turbo modes - the price is too close to an Xbox Controller. Personally, I prefer an XBox button layout and that is easily handled via re-mapping on the switch.

I ordered this for my Grandson for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It is very easy to use and comfortable to hold on to. Very pleased with this purchase.

I loved the funko pop but I was very disappointed in the fact that the box came bent and damaged I collect these so I’m not happy that this one looks like it was dropped.

This is the first Splatoon I've ever played and I really enjoy everything about it. So far I'm just trying to level up but it's been quite an experience.

Originally bought to be used with iPad mini 4, but cannot connect via Bluetooth. Controller is not detectable by it. The box it came in does not state its compatible with iOS. It can connect to my android phone. Will be testing on PC via Bluetooth for foreseeable future. I like the design and would rather keep it. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars. Depending on performance, I will reevaluate at a later date. Update: Works well on PC via Bluetooth. Good battery life.

Love the packaging. Unfortunately, the plastic sleeve for the metal case got pretty big dents from shipping. Kind of a bummer but overall looks great.

Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round, for I have encountered a gaming marvel that will flip your world faster than a pancake on a Sunday morning! Enter the realm of Nintendo Switch Sports, where joy meets excitement, and your thumbs embark on Olympic-level training! Remember the old Wii Sports days? Well, picture that, but with the Nintendo Switch's magical capabilities! It's like Mario and Sonic decided to throw a party, and every iconic Nintendo character RSVP'd for the event. Let's talk about the games within this gem. From the classic tennis that makes you feel like a Wimbledon pro (minus the sweat stains) to bowling, where even the clumsiest of us can get a strike, each game is a slice of pure joy wrapped in pixelated goodness. It's like having a sports carnival at your fingertips, minus the sweaty athletes! And the controls? Oh, dear friend, they're smoother than butter on a hot biscuit! The Joy-Cons become extensions of your very being as you swing, punch, or shoot your way to victory. It's like the controllers are whispering, "You got this!" with every motion. But wait, there's more! The multiplayer mode is where the real fun begins. Gather your friends, family, or even your pet goldfish (if they're into gaming) and dive into the competitive world of Switch Sports. It's the kind of chaos that turns family gatherings into legendary tournaments, with laughter echoing through the halls and joyous screams of victory... or defeat. Nintendo didn't just create a game; they crafted an experience. It's like a rollercoaster ride through a pixelated wonderland, where every twist and turn brings a smile to your face. Now, let's address the graphics. Sure, they might not be hyper-realistic, but who needs photorealism when you have adorable, charming characters dashing across vibrant landscapes? It's like stepping into a living cartoon where the fun never ends! Oh, and the music! It's so catchy, it'll have you humming the tunes even when you're not playing. It's like having a soundtrack that turns every moment into a mini-celebration. In conclusion, Nintendo Switch Sports isn't just a game; it's a bundle of joy, a digital carnival that brings people together, and an endless source of entertainment. It's a reminder that gaming isn't just about winning; it's about creating memories, sharing laughter, and having a blast with those you love. So, grab your Switch, get ready to break a virtual sweat, and let Nintendo Switch Sports be the MVP in your gaming collection. It's an absolute blast that'll make you want to high-five your screen in sheer excitement!

I don’t always write reviews, unless i feel like I’ve found a standout product. This controller is awesome and definitely has made me want to play my switch a lot more. Biggest downfall for me on the switch is the comfort with playing the joycons. Let’s face it the ergos on the joycons are pretty trash. This product is pretty great, i like the layout although it did take some time to get used to the non-offset joysticks; since i was using the joycons for a fair amount of time. But once you get used to it the product is pretty awesome. The buttons and sticks are more pleasurable to use and less fatiguing than the standard joycons. I have fairly large hands and the way the controller is shaped it feels great for me personally. Button locations are awesome and they feel good. Overall the controller is a must for me. The cons are minimal but still a few. Sucks that i have to keep mounting and unmounting the switch since the controller doesn’t have NFC to support amiibo usage. Good thing i don’t use them that much. The home button, doesn’t turn on the switch so you gotta go to the power button. Not too bad but it’s there. And i guess the biggest downfall would be that you can’t dock the product while it’s mounted on the controller. But i knew that coming in, since i wanted a one piece. Kinda sucks that the HORI split pad pro cases don’t work for this, but it does feel less wide to the split pad. If you’re looking for a case like i was, the nexigo joypad case works beautifully with this one piece. Overall the controller is a great product. I enjoy it a lot, and as a bonus i informed the company of a sale that was live a few days after i bought the product and they dealt with the price adjustment in a satisfactory manner which i wasn’t fully expecting. Also the company reached out the me a few days after purchase to ask how the controller was working for me. It’s a small thing, but a big gesture. Would be 5 stars if the cons were worked out.

I think this is an awesome value. You receive the essential accessories required for a new Nintendo Switch owner. The travel case is very sturdy, practical, and light in weight. The screen protector can be a little tricky to apply, but if you take your time it's not bad at all. The headphones aren't world-class, but they're comfortable and produce a quality sound for extended use on the Nintendo Switch. I was surprisingly pleased with them. The game cases are a nice touch as well. They'll offer good storage and protection for game cards. The USB-C cable seems to be of good quality, as far as a reliable cable goes. My only significant gripe is the the protective rubber case that covers the console. While it is of good quality and it has a highly comfortable feel in the hands, there is a slight defect that I find pretty annoying. The protective case bows out at the bottom of the console, right near the center (see images). This might not be a major issue for functionality, but it does affect the aesthetics (other reviewers have experienced this as well). When you spend money on a product, you expect 100% quality, and unfortunately Orzly misses the mark here. Some may find it minor, but Orzly doesn't accept a partial payment for their products, so why should the customer accept any compromise on quality (regardless of how marginal it may be)? The defective protective case led me to an overall 3-⭐ rating. I find it a nuisance to have a reminder of this defect every single time I use the console. If I had received a protective case free of defects, this would easily be upgradeable to a 5-⭐ review.

I received an empty case last year when I ordered it for my son for Christmas. My sister bought it again this year for Christmas and it’s empty again… No Card inside. Not happy with the product and service. $60 wasted!

I ordered this Nintendo Switch docking station from TreasLin because I wanted to be able to carry my Switch and accessories on a family vacation without having to carry the larger docking station that I have hooked up to the my television at home. This docking station is easy to use, and it works pretty simply. You simply use the USB-C cord that was provided with the docking station and insert that into the Switch. Then you need to provide a power cord for the other USB slot and an HDMI cord that you plug into the television/monitor. The Switch should work as expected once all three cords are plugged in. This replacement dock worked for me. It doesn't come with the USB power cord or the HDMI cord, but everyone these days has spares laying around the house given how much technology is in each of our homes. They market this as a "replacement dock," but for me it's going to be a traveling dock station.

Edit: Power A is sending a warranty replacement so will update if it arrives. (I've received the warranty replacement so I changed it to a 4/5. Will update if anything happens. Also anyone saying this controller doesn't charge via UsbC to UsbC might have a broken port or their UsbC cables might not have a long enough head usbc head. I've added a video of my charging the controller via a Usb C to Usb C cable using a power bank. ----------------------------(Original Review Below)---------------------------- I preordered this controller from GameStop (hence why it doesn't say Verified Purchase) and used it as my main controller for about 2 months. I baby all my controllers as I know the money stacks up and gets quite expensive. Yet this one has died on me. My gripes with this controller are- The Plus, Minus, Home, Dpad, and Screen Capture buttons are finicky. You can press them and it'll feel like a click and nothing happens. For some reason on mine I have to mash down pretty significantly more than the other buttons. Sometimes when turning on it'll have serious drift until I repair it to the console. The Dpad is mushy and will move around when you press the same direction multiple times. Kinda wishy it was more clicky. It does lack Nfc and Rumble but most games don't use them very well anyways. What I did like was the- Small form factor. The Enhanced line of PowerA Controllers now are rechargeable so you don't got to mess with batteries. The On The Go remappable buttons are really nice. It makes playing games with a jump/boost easier to play. However with that all said. My right trigger has died and with that being a crucial button I can no longer use the controller. This is my first controller to have actually break on me. I could live with other the gripes but without the trigger it's going to have to be put aside sadly. I've tried logging into my PowerA account to contact support but it keeps saying my account was moved and they'll send me an email to no avail. Same thing when I teied changing passwords. I've put in a ticket and hopefully I'll get a response For now and for about if not cheaper price I would recommend the normal sized updated Enhanced Controller. As it has a good overall build quality and reliability. It's sadly bigger but mine hasn't died on me yet and it's older too.
