Seller did not disclose this was not the US version. Evidently I can’t return.

As someone who's been playing on the PS4, the Nintendo Switch is a great change of pace. This is my ever handheld gaming device and I got to say, man is it impressive! For starters, the design of the switch is awesome, not too heavy or light. Every time you slip the joycons on the side of the switch, it makes a satisfying click sound. The dock is great for playing games on your TV or monitor (plus it looks clean too). After spending about 10 hours on the switch, I am satisfied with the joycons and feel no need to purchase the pro controller. Although the joycons are a bit small (perfect for kids), they will get the job done. Next, it is important that you take storage into consideration since the switch only comes with a base of 32 gb. I bought the SanDisk 128 gb card and that will be enough for me. If you plan on playing games like Mortal Kombat, I'd suggest upgrading to 200 and above, since those games take up more storage (ex. MK11 Aftermath is 30 gb). Depending on how much you play, battery life will vary. Of course, more labor-intensive games will drain the battery quicker. I only have two games on my switch so far (Attack on Titan and Fortnite) and those games tend to drain the battery significantly faster. I don’t have any other games to compare to, but while playing AoT, the battery lasted about 4-5 hours before needing a charge. This is super impressive since AoT is an open-world style game with dozens of titans running around the map destroying buildings and such, but frames will drop from time to time if there too much going on at once. Even after playing for a long time, the switch is only some-what warm, which is great if you are playing in handheld mode. Lastly, I want to talk about the price point of the switch. The retail price is $299.99 and that's what I paid for when I bought the Mario Version. It's a steep price since it's alongside the price point of an Xbox or PS4, but it is worth it if you enjoy playing games on the go and love Nintendo titles such as Zelda and Mario. In addition to the retail price of the console, also take into account other expenses such as extra storage (I would only buy the ones from Nintendo, SanDisk, or Samsung), a screen protector (very important in my opinion. The first thing I did when I unboxed the switch was to put on a screen protector), extra controllers and/or joycons, and maybe Nintendo's online membership if you want to play online and with friends (games like Fortnite will not need a membership). All in all, the switch is a great device and I can't recommend it enough. It's a great console for families or if you just want to play alone.

This was super awesome as a purchase from akiya-switch.com. The thing that I like most about it, meaning "it" as a litmus test for truth, is that akiya-switch.com's driver was amazing. Give a shout out to the local driver Sam! I think he's my uncle, actually. Curious as it may seem, product reviews may seem unimportant, but, similar to my years spent drowning in retail, akiya-switch.com is fueling the revolution. Like me, prolific and aesthetic, which combines as prolificaesthetics I guess, I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase.experiencing somewhat of an internal turf war. Is it Nintendo or is it Memorex. Is it Xbox or is it Texas Instruments. Perhaps time will tell, but one thing we know for sure, a good marketing plan includes creative, out of the box thinking. Not, on the other hand, new items by third party resellers such as those on Ebay, who violate the high standards of snobby Americans like myself. First world problems? Not at all. This is a global war that has intensified in scope. We, as individuals, must learn to combat intellectual property theft, rally up and be the voice of the underdog, and ultimately say no to bullies, corporate and individual. Together we as individuals and #Nintendo #akiya-switch.com and even #Apple and #Temu will fuel the #freetheburn #prolifically #aesthetic #prolificaesthetics revolution and reject businesses that abuse individual citizens. I've seen enough to know, that, with certainty, the purchase of this game was made with sound mind, consent, and a respectful request for in kind. Support the dominant paradigm? Question authority? Jury's still out on that one.

The Nintendo Switch has become one of the best selling consoles of all time, but it is not without its flaws. I am not talking about graphics limitations, or lack of 4K because honestly the games I play on my Switch don't need that. What I am thinking about is the way my hands and wrist begin to hurt during medium to long play sessions while on the go. The Joycons don't offer any ergonomics and the grip is awkward. Enter the Kickdot controller. I have used a number of various cradle controller options, and they all have their benefits, and they are all more comfortable than just using the joycons. However this cradle controller focused on all of the right things. First, most notably is the kickstand. Many of the other cradle controllers lack the kickstand. It's an easy oversight, but one that I found myself wanting more and more. RGBs in the right spots. Backlighting on the keys. Others have RGB in unnecessary locations (like bars off the edge of the screen), often times shine right in your face, creating distracts, etc. The RGB is used sparingly, and right. The face buttons (A,B,Y,X) are backlit and glow nicely. The game cartridge holder on the back is in the perfect spot. The games click in nicely, and don't fall out, even if the controller is turned upside and shaken. This little design call is ideal for the gamer on the go. Take your favorites with you, and never find yourself bored. USB-C passthrough for charging is great. You'd be surprised at how many alphabet soup companies sell a cradle controller without a USB-C port to charge the Switch. Easy to program turbo keys, and easy rumble toggling with cyclable button presses. But the most notable, award winning decision in the design goes to the Hall-Effect joysticks. Truly, blows my mind that many companies will produce anything without hall-effect joysticks given how wide spread stick drift has become, not just in the Nintendo camp, but PlayStation as well. The ergonomics of the design feel fantastic. Goodbye wrist cramping. The buttons all feel and respond so well! The shoulder buttons provide an especially nice click-y feeling and are easy to reach. In fact, the DPad on this is better than the official Pro Controller DPad. So what's missing? Honestly, if something was missing, that means I would be wishing or longing for a feature. There are no mappable buttons on the back of the controller like many tend to include, so no macros. But I really never cared for those anyways, so I am not missing them. The only thing I could think of maybe wanting randomly is Amiibo scanning. But it's so seldom I use that feature, that I really wouldn't use an amiibo on the go anyways. So at the end of the day, this has everything I could want. This product really enhances the Nintendo Switch's experience. I now find myself laying in bed playing more. I can't recommend this product enough. 5/5

							He needs a Doctor

Case arrived broken. Cannot use as a collectable.

The game came new and sealed! I’m really excited to play this game:D the shipping was insanely fast D: really satisfied with that! Well I’m off to play! Peace >:D

The only downside might be the box; it may arrive with adhesive tape. Other than that, the console came in perfect condition.

							I'm very satisfied.

Fun game if you can get passed all the issues that are mentions in the comment. I got the game on release day and the patch they made for the game fixed some of the issues, and I'm sure they will make even more patches to fix other issues. I noticed once you install the patch the parts of the game that still have load time issues is the start of the game, loading your save file and leaving your house. Other then that load times aren't that bad. there are a few glitches here and there like the game will lag if you are running in a field and certain NPC will do odd things like walk into a wall or not show up for " Play" ( Dates) and send you a nasty letter the next day, but the game isn't that bad. I brought it on release day and don't regret it, but just like all games developers need to make a patch for it. I would say if you truly want to play it wait a couple months to get it maybe the price will decrease over time or play it online. I still think the game is really good, but that's me. it's nothing wrong with waiting for it to price drop to try it out.

Great looking set and game. Unfortunately it was shipped in an envelope and the box was damaged.

Fits nice and snug, comfortable grip, and works and charges when docked. (1/24/2025) Updated review after seeing others review. (I don't understand some of the low star reviews) This is not a mil-spec case and will NOT protect it from drops. This is for the OLED version, including the OLED dock. Meaning, it will only fit on a OLED Switch, and ONLY fit in the OLED Dock! I have had it almost 2 years and still going strong. I let kids use and play on my switch. It has yet to break. There is no gap around the joycons, and the case fits snuggly around them. There is NO warping happening to the console, or where the joycons connect to the switch. When docked, there is NO warping, it does have to be at a good enough angle to sit properly in the dock, but nothing got hot or warm to the point of worrying. If you have any of those problems send it back for another, lets be smart and not lazy. Thought I would update as I am ordering the (Nitro Deck)
