What I really like about this unit is it solves a major problem that some other cart Switchers have had in the past. That if the power goes out. The Switch will stay on from it's battery but the card switcher will go out with the power acting like the cart just for pulled out of the system. This unit here has a battery backup plug in extra power slot, to prevent this issue entirely. Very cool. Just need a backup battery. This docking station makes for a good replacement or 2nd TV hookup. Nothing is really better than Nintendo's setup but this one is easy enough to plug in and have the TV in docked mode. The cartridge switcher works great to easily go back and forth between 4 games. You get the 3 USB ports and it's really nice that there is the built in Ethernet port too. The one major thing missing from Nintendo's dock. Now this is really only practical if you don't use handheld mode very often. Since, you have to unplug the switcher and undock the Switch to get it in portable mode. Not too much of a hassle. But not quick like the official dock. And there isn't that added screen protection here either. All and all, this unit is solid. Folds up nice and portable. A good alternative docking station if you just don't have the original. Plus, with a few extra bells and whistles.

After owning for about a couple weeks now, this leverless has become one of my favorites under $100 USD. I like that they chose to use arcade style buttons. As a long-time arcade stick user, the buttons provide a nice transition compared to the flatbox devices that use keyboard switches and caps. The size and weight feels great for either using on my lap or on a table and always feels sturdy and stable. I was able to use a magicboots ps4 adapter to use this on my ps5, and I also connected a wired Xbox Series X controller to use it on the series x console. It also works on other devices like PC and the Switch. So I've been having fun trying it on my various consoles. The buttons are surprisingly good for generic offbrand stuff. I've used tons of button brands and styles and these feel like less sensitive sanwas with a bit of extra travel. I adjusted to these from my other leverless after maybe 10 minutes of playing. I will likely keep using them until I want to swap colors or another brand for fun, or just do a full swap if a button gets faulty. I rather have these cheaper buttons to save money over buying an "elite" version so I can have my own choice of quality buttons on my terms when ready. I'm also looking forward to trying my hand at customizing the artwork. I'm happy I gave this product a chance! I really can't think of much I would change about it that wouldn't push the price higher than I want it to be.

Package delivered looked good. Inside it this one game was opened just enough to steal the cartridge.

I have a couple of TVs that I wanted to be able to play my switch on. I prefer the large screen vs the small one. This was the perfect solution so I can play on other TVs in my house and not just the one that the dock is connected to. One thing to note is that you CANNOT play with the Joy-cons connected to the Switch. You must play with the Joy-cons on the grip (or individual) instead.

I specifically bought from the actual Nintendo store within akiya-switch.com because if I’m going to pay that kind of money, I want a NEW joycon and not a refurbished one. Noticed today when I opened the product and set it up on my switch, the left joycon is defective. This is 100% refurbished. What a scam.

I've been looking for a good retro controller for some of my retro projects. The market is full of cheap retro-system knock-offs that feel flimsy and do not respond well. I've been forced to use modern looking controllers or USB-to-Retro adapters but then I discovered 8Bitdo! They work amazingly well, and feel very sturdy. They seem to be plug-and play with most of my setups. Work with both windows and linux (I do not own a switch). They have all the functionality of a dual-shock (plus more) and look like an old SNES controller. They also have a nifty little set of lights on the bottom, to tell you what controller is #1, #2, #3, and #4, that is very helpful when using more then one on PC. I've already started replacing all of my good-ol' reliable Logitechs. I have not tried the blu tooth yet, as I perfer my retro controllers corded.

Let me start with saying the grip is amazing. It’s 100% night and day better playing with this grip. Without it the switch feels so awkward to hold and play. I didn’t feel comfortable at all. This grip solves that. The case is nice and simple. It’s more of a im taking my switch somewhere for the day type of case. It’s slim and definitely will protect it. It’s not for more than one day as you can’t take a charger with you in the case. The reason for the 4 star review over 5 is it clearly states in the description the joycon thumb pads are included. Well they are not. You get a case and the grip that’s it. When you paying $70 for a grip and case it makes you pretty mad that you thought you were getting thumb grips too and you did not. Just keep that in mind when purchasing. If I were to buy again I would probably just get the grip and get a different case to be honest as the price is dang steep for the case especially since I’m buying thumb pads that were supposed to be included separately.

This is a great alternative to an OEM controller. The button layout is very similar and it even offers some additional functions, such as customizable LED lighting. The clear plastic shell is perfectly molded, so there are no sharp edges or overlapping where the two pieces join. Also, the knurled texture on the grips is a nice touch that will prevent it from accidentally being dropped. It's definitely a well-thought-out design. The buttons and sticks on this controller are fantastic. All are very responsive and have a quick return once released. In addition, the left and right bumper buttons do have a nice audible click when pressed. This is ideal for gamers who are already accustomed to this type of tactile feedback. Also, the internal LED light, as well as vibration intensity, can easily be controlled by two small buttons located on the front. I was able to connect it to my laptop and my Steam Deck via Bluetooth. It's recognized as different types of devices depending on how it's paired. For example, holding only the HOME button allowed my laptop to sync it as a generic device, and holding the HOME and right bumper button allowed it to pair as an Xbox controller. Both settings were recognized by Steam and I could play games without any issues. A mounting bracket and two pairs of finger sleeves round out the included accessories. These can be used to attach and control a smartphone, adding even more versatility to an already great kit. That's a lot of useful features and functions to have. Considering the overall quality, low price, and extra accessories it comes with, this one is a home run.

I love these controllers. Bought two of them (in store) sometime after I first bought the switch. They worked beautifully. Bought another so all (my son wife and myself) could play. I’m currently deployed and there are a many of players out here playing smash bros, so I found the company via akiya-switch.com and just received it. Played a few games and it once again, works flawlessly. I’ve had no drift in any of the controllers I’ve bought. Their response time is perfect & they’re light weight. You could say they feel cheap, sure, but they work flawlessly. Great product! 😁👍🏽

A scam: even though it says the handsome collection, it only contains ONE borderlands game (borderlands 1) and not the rest. A waste of $30. I hope I can get a refund

Very cool looking ship for Atlas game I could have purchased this digitally l, but this is just too cool a product for the game not to mention nice to pit on display with my other ships. Great addition for the game made well.

I Initially loved this controller due to the unique joysticks and great feeling triggers. After a couple months though, the left trigger has stopped activating fully. It can still be moved as normal, but the controller will only register about seven-tenths of the actual input. With the stick fully forward, it should register as "1" or "100%", but this controller has stopped registering it fully. You can see in the linked photo that the error rate for the good stick is 0.6% (Excellent) and the error rate for the defective stick is (6.9%) (Bad), this effect means that moving forward in video games is hindered as the game cannot detect that the stick is all the way forward - despite it being the case. Overall impressive controller but I am hoping for GuliKit to release a more reliable model, perhaps with more pro-like features and better input lag.
