Wow! This box set is huge! About the size of the Switch console box! I won’t be going in-depth of the game itself but I will review this spoiler free. Overall the game is great! Lots of fun ways to battle and the storyline is decent, not the best but it is very entertaining. You can easily finish the game in under 30 hours but I recommend doing everything to enjoy all the game has to offer. Characters are fun and some silly, while a few are annoying. Again, not the best, but decent. Now on to the box set. It is gorgeous! Sets packaged the whole set in a way that’s both easy to remove the items and put back. The tank is the best part. Well made and a nice addition to your bookshelves or entertainment center. Everything else is OK, but not really amazing. For the cost this is a must buy! Even if you just want the cool box it comes in, or the tank, you will be pleased.
Best Game
I was looking for a good controller for my switch OLED, and at first, I was uncertain as some of the reviews said it did not fit the OLED, well it does but it does require some oomph to get it into place and slot it, but it otherwise works seamlessly. Pros: 1. Good stick movement and accuracy 2. Buttons are nice and clicky 3. No fear of the screen sliding off the rails 4. Can charge and use it as a replacement dock 5. Programmable Turbo function for buttons, and add buttons on the back of the program for easier accessibility. 6. No lag during my use while playing Pokemon Scarlett, and Pokemon Unite. 7. Good for Big Hands, similar to a dual sense. 8. Fits both OLED/Original Switch, and comes with a stand. 9. The padding is really nice and protective for both the game cards and the holding of the switch itself. 10. It's also very sturdy and I think it could withstand a bad drop, and I tried to twist it to see if it would break or snap and it didn't overly bend. Cons: 1. Buttons are clicky, and I am afraid they will go out or lose 2. function, and they can be loud for some. 3. The back buttons behind the controller are very small, and smooth, and can be hard to press at times, so it may not be fitting for some. 4. May not be easy to use for smaller hands. 5. Charging can be iffy at times and not as fast, but it is efficient. 6. It does not have any good grip on it and may be too slippery for some. 7. If you have an OLED the stand for this item is not that great, as it is smaller and has less range of mobility, but for the Original switch this would be an upgrade, but it still has a smaller amount of range to lean the switch down. Besides these ups and downs, the controller is pretty good, but it could be used with some improvements on the size, back button placement, kickstand, and grip ability, beyond that it works fantastic for my OLED for gaming on the go!
Great game I loved it. But where is my pre-ordered bonus?!?! I can't believe I didn't get anything!!!
So far the game is good just glitches out but it's an interesting game!!! Fun game
Game is awesome. fun robot action!! Im rating it 5 stars cause don't want to lower the game rating. BUT....... I bough it from distributor Pro-Distributing. with akiya-switch.com fulfillment and I receive the European version. Not big deal as switch is region free... but at least they should be specific about it in the description or change the cover art so you know you will get the European version of the game.
First off, what I received seemed like a previously used item. It arrived completely dirty as you can tell from the pictures. Now with that being said, I immediately tried to use this for the SWITCH via its Bluetooth mode but keep in mind the frustrating part is that you need batteries. So if you don't like battery powered controllers then stay away from this. From my understanding you can only use this via wired mode for your PlayStation consoles. The controller itself had a nice oval shape to it but it's the buttons that were lackluster. You can tell this uses all membrane buttons. The directional pad is completely awful! It will get stuck and make weird noises depending how you used the D-Pad. The buttons themselves would get stuck during gameplay. For the price point I expected something a little bit better quality and not this.
I love how it came quicker than expected and everything is in mint condition. Exactly as described.
I’ve had zero issue with this leverless controller. It’s play and play on PC and everything works as it should! I highly recommend this if you don’t want to drop $300 on a Kitsune.
I have the 4k Gamer Pro daisy chained with the mClassic and man this is an awesome combination. I finally can say I enjoy playing docked on an OLED. I am using the highest settings on the 4k gamer pro with the added anti-aliasing from the mClassic. This device works amazing without the mClassic as well. Just plug and play! It upscales the resolution on the Nintendo Switch games from 1080p to 4k! When using the 4k Gamer pro and mClassic you get anti-aliasing with 4k upscaling. It's a game changer! It’s like we are getting every game remastered! Smooth textures, deeper colors, more detailed imagery. To get this to work you need to use the HDMI cable that came with the OLED variant, or you need a high-speed HDMI cable. I’m using an akiya-switch.com Basic high-speed cable (the HDMI 1.4 cable that came with the classic Nintendo Switch at the time of purchase will not do 4k 60). If you decide to daisy chain with an mClassic the order goes as follows: mClassic plugs into the switch Then plug in the 4k gamer pro to the mClassic Then plug your high-speed cable from your 4k gamer pro to your tv. Make sure the green light is lit up on the mClassic and the blue light is lit up on the 4k gamer pro….You have three settings on the 4k gamer pro. I’m using the highest setting (click the button 3 times) and boom….your tv information will show 4k (2160p) and if you have an LG OLED, you see the frame count of 60. Again, this is brilliant without the mClassic but if you already have an mClassic let it join the party as well! Enjoy gaming everyone!
This to me is one of the most visually appealing controllers I've seen in a while for a collaboration. I wasn't sure what design they were going for but having all the peppers in a pattern works! I was skeptical about the neon green color scheme but it definitely works too. Once I saw this controller in person, I actually wish they had used more neon green such as on the upper bumpers or even the D-pad if possible. I honestly like the translucent color of the outer shell. Controller feels good in hand. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for fighting games but it should work for any other.
good stuff, very new
I don’t know if I wanna say Shredder’s Revenge was better than Turtles in Time or not but you can’t really blame anyone for thinking it was because Shredder’s Revenge was Top Tier in Beat’em Up gameplay! Definitely Tubular fun to be had!
I have many controllers and i have 2 other controllers from easysmx and loved them but when i saw this one with a charging dock which i always love when controllers and other devices have a dock with them i wanted to give this controller a try. When i received it i really loved the dark see through design and the gold dpad and triggers gives it a retro look and when powered on first thing i notice is the rgb is pretty bright which i do like but you can also turn it off or lower the brightness with the FN button and dpad which you do the same with the color modes and vibration so it's pretty simple and i do like that. It also feels great in the hand and has a nice texture feel and does not feel cheap and has a good weight to it and all the face buttons while they not mechanical as some of my other controllers they still feel good and still have tactile feel to them, And the triggers feels great and nice and smooth and i like that you can change them to a rapid trigger input if you want to than the analog sticks which is hall effect of course they going to feel great. Than on my controllers i always love when they have the 2 back buttons cause i use them to shift gears in racing games and it's so easy to program with the FN button. Battery life is great so far which i haven't even drained it yet but that's because when I'm done with it i always put it back on the dock and that's what really caught my eyes when i saw this controller is the dock it's so much better to have and i always remember to put it on the dock when I'm done with vs plugging in a wire as i forget to do with my other controllers and i also like that you can plug the dongle right into the back of the dock so it cant get misplaced and it uses ony one usb port on your computer instead of 2. Really i could not find any cons with it and ony thing i would say if i had to say about one if it was a problem with me would be the dpad it could be better but i hardy use the dpad cause i ony use flight sticks when I'm playing fighting games and i mostly ony use controllers with racing games and this controller is great with those so really not a issue for me and everything else in my opinion makes up for it so it does get a thumbs up from me i like it👍
This is my third Labo set but the first one I've ever built. Actually I didn't build it, I controlled the instructions while my girlfriend built it, it took us about 40 minutes to build just the goggles (we didn't build the blaster yet). 40 minutes for $40 working VR, it's a must buy. The instructions couldn't be easier and more user friendly, having a helper is the way to go as it streamlines the entire process rather than watching, doing then watching and doing. We both enjoyed the build process. Sure, the clarity isn't the best, but it's still really good. Both my girlfriend and I wear glasses and the goggles fit just fine for those who are blind without glasses. The goggles are very sturdy, which one might not think with these Labo cardboard pieces. Using both a safety cap that you build along with fabric stickers help keep your Nintendo Switch securely in place so there is zero worry of your console falling out of the goggles. But you can get Nintendo Labo tape to secure this build even further if you're worried. We just spent an hour trying a variety of games (64 in total if you get the full set), there are games like jumping to break blocks, hockey bomb (like soccer dodge ball that explodes) a jumping platformer Mario style, some racing games (which you attach the joycons to the console and hold it that way) shooting hoops, boomerang, etc. And in Labo fashion they have what they call "garage" where you can design your own VR games, we didn't try that yet but from what I've seen from other Labo sets, the garage feature seems to be very popular. The graphics are good, not great, maybe not as immersive as some would like, certainly not on the same level as PSVR or Oculus, but those cost a lot of money and this, like I said, is currently only $40, that's a steal as far as I'm concerned because not only is the end product a working VR set, but the build process for those who love Lego or building models, that just adds to the fun. There's also 33 demo videos that are pretty good and are nice for sharing with people who've never tried out VR. A lot of people are stating that it's odd there is no head strap, you have to either hold the goggles with one hand and use a joycon in the other, or for some games attach both joycons and hold the goggles that way. For all these mini games that's totally fine, none you'd really play for more than 20 minutes or so, neither my girlfriend nor I had any issues holding up the goggles. Though Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild with both soon have updates that support VR (all of Zelda will be VR compatible which is incredibly exciting) so those may be a bit harder to play without a head strap. I love that Nintendo is adding VR features to older games like Mario and Zelda, who knows what else may get this feature, Mario Kart, heck maybe even the Skyrim port since they've already designed Skyrim for the PSVR. And if you have kids, what a killer way to have fun building and introducing them to VR. If you have a Nintendo Switch, $40, and about 40 minutes of times, you won't regret getting Nintendo Labo VR. This comes FULLY APPROVED. Update: 4/29 The updates for Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey are now live. I've not tried Mario but I have tried Zelda, and while the frame rate isn't the smoothest, and the image clarity is muddied and blurry, it's still amazing. The world of Hyrule is much more immersive, tall mountains and vast valley's, heck even text that pops up while talking to inhabitants of Hyrule looks great. The overall effect is of playing in a 3D world, some have been disappointed that this didn't get a first person treatment but I'm ok with that. I don't want ever VR game that gets made to be in first person, you can still have an immersive experience in VR playing a third person game like this. Now I "had" to buy a headstrap to be able to really enjoy this. I ordered a great 3D printed one off ebay, and while it frees up your arms to be able to use the joycons, the switch itself is rather heavy attached to the front of your face, especially when strapped on, it kinda squeezes ones face. But without a head strap, this game is almost impossible to play, you need the joycons detached and set to motion control so you can get the full VR Zelda experience. If you have Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and have Labo VR, you need to play this immediately.
