I purchased this game strictly to play Mario 64 because it is the best Mario game created! I was obsessed as a kid and I am obsessed all over again. I got 111 stars within 2 weeks of having the game. I have now moved on to Mario Galaxy and it’s the same as the wii version. I would definitely recommend if you loved these games in the past.
Did you REALLY want the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition, but you already had an OLED Switch and could not justify the expense? If so, then this bundle is for you. It's obviously not the same as having the official $360 hardware, but for one-tenth the cost it comes pretty close if you already have an OLED Switch. As you can see from my pictures, you get thin, snap-on plastic skins for your Switch and joycons. (Note this bundle is for OLED Switches only - the back plate matches the kickstand for the OLED version, not the original Switch or Switch Lite.) The plastic is a nice idea. It stays on without any adhesive, so you can remove the skins easily. You also get a TotK Branded case with MasterSword pulls for the zippers. The case has room for the Switch, a zippered pocket for Accessories, and it holds ten game cartridges. It also comes with joycon button covers and a screen protector. (I did not use these items,) I was able to successfully dock the Switch into the dock with the plastic skin on, but it was a tight fit. It may or may not work with both the screen protector and plastic skin. I would highly recommend this bundle for serious Tears of the Kingdom fans. All details - from teh case to the skins - incorporate the theme. At one-tenth the price of the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition, it's a great value as well as a great looking set of accessories.
I’ve got my copy back in October 4th, and just finished playing through the entire Arcadia Bay Collection at the time I’ve posted this review! I have also the remastered collection on Steam but my PC isn’t built to run them smoothly, so I’m happy they finally ported this over to the Switch, since I’ve just gotten my first switch console this year. I’m not obsessed with the quality. Since this is on the Switch, graphics and visuals aren’t as detailing compared to the other latest consoles, which is understandable. I’m just happy to be able to play this again, and while chilling on the couch without having to sit on my computer desk haha. I did encounter some bugs though on both games. It’s more on the graphics, but it didn’t affect my gameplay. I hope they can patch it up. Overall, not too bothersome. I’ve played this on both handheld and TV mode. I think it brings a more immersive experience if you have good speakers or headphones, since Life is Strange series offers the best music and sounds curated for each game.
Great job redoing the game! It runs and looks a lot better than people was originally stating and plays a lot smoother than the original version. I really wish the collectors edition was available for preorder since didn't show up till after release day for purchase...
As someone who played steins;gate elite, steins;gate 0, and chaos;child, I have to say the robotics;notes combo is excellent. It took me around a week to finish elite, and I really enjoyed the endings, the coolest thing is they’re all canon and fall into a linear fashion. The music is really enjoyable and sets a great vibe, and it’s got a great slice of life feel until you know who gets involved. It branches in a direction I did not expect (in a good way). I’d say elite is just as good as S;G or C;C. Now onto robotics;notes DaSH, this one had such a different vibe it really caught me off guard at first. It’s got a fan service Daru vibe going on for some of the routes, there were a lot of funny moments. I haven’t laughed as hard through any of the SciAdv games as I have DaSH. Just know it has more of a lighthearted feel to it. The endings aren’t linear like elite and some are hit or miss, but mostly hit. Some routes felt kind of satire in DaSH, but I still enjoyed myself a lot even though they didn’t have a serious save the world vibe. All in all it’s worth the play through, and I enjoyed seeing Nae and Daru interacting with the R;N crew. I’d say it’s a 10/10 for R;N Elite and an 8/10 for DaSH. If you enjoyed any of the SciAdv VN, you’ll enjoy these as well. For those not acquainted with the SciAdv series, I’d say elite is still playable as your first entry, but DaSH has a lot of S;G references; so it’s best enjoyed after having experienced the S;G VN or at least the anime. Highly recommended. I won’t spoil the ending, but the ending makes for an exciting future, and if you’ve ever wondered “why is Daru involved with these robot club kids? Why couldn’t they just keep the focus on the regulars in R;N?” You’ll know what they were going for by the end of the final phase, it will eventually make sense. If you purchase it on PS4 it comes with one disc for both games. And my copy didn’t come with the pins as it’s been so long since release, but to be fair I wasn’t expecting any. Support the official release so we get more! Here’s to hoping we can get an english release of Chaos;Head Noah, and looking forward to Anonymous;Code!
Spent $40 to receive a case that not only doesn't come with a grip but would not fit one. The case received is smaller and listed at around $16 in multiple other locations.
I ordered what I thought to be a new in the box product. The picture showed the product in the box. What I got was used and no box!!!! HUGE difference. I could have ordered a used one for much less $. I paid for a new one!!
Fits my Switch OLED perfectly and provides great protection whenever I pack it.
Great controller for anyone playing on switch mobile or xbox! Huge upgrade over Nintendo pro controller or regular joy cons the adjustable trigger set points and turbo mode set for spamming jump and fast shooting single shot guns! One thing I haven’t seen anyone mention is look closely to the buttons and the Fortnite festival edition has Xbox controller labeled buttons where as my other one is switch style!
The Hawksbill handheld controller for Switch has become my favourite for its simplicity -- as an adult casual gamer, I couldn't care less about RGB lights or macro buttons, so the lack of "bells and whistles" suits me just fine. But this controller focuses its efforts where it counts. Most similar controllers are made to work with both the original and OLED versions of the Switch, and they simply have an OLED-sized slot that leaves a gap on either side of the narrower original Switch (if you manage to keep it centered in the first place). In contrast, the Hawksbill is sized for the OLED, but has switch-operated plastic bumpers that come out and act as guides when inserting an original Switch. I also like the shape of the Hawsbill's grips -- they're narrower than others and have a more pronounced radius that feels similar to a Pro Controller, which I find more comfortable than bulbous alternatives. The buttons, triggers, and joysticks all feel fine to me despite what other reviewers say, but I'll be the first to admit that gaming is not a "serious" endeavour for me. The USB-C port on the bottom of the controller is clearly labeled as "charging port," and I can confirm that it's exactly that -- USB-C peripherals that work with the Switch will not work when connected through the controller's port, so look elsewhere if this is important to you. Lastly, I'm happy with this controller, but while writing this review, I noticed that the seller Hawksbill Gaming has at least three separate listings for it -- they're all priced differently, so shop around for the best deal if you like what you see.
It’s pretty good now the only thing I have to do is get a stand or a table to latch it into I love the features it has and how it’s very easily programmable I mostly use mine on forza
This is a pretty nice sports bundle for the switch. I was looking for something for my kids to use with their new sports game for the switch and this seemed like a fun set. My son had used something similar at a friends house so he was excited to show me how it worked. He was especially excited to use the tennis racket, sword and golf club. All of these accessories fit the switch joy con perfectly. Everything fit very snugly, and I like how every accessory is well designed on how to take the controller out after use. Everything seemed to work just fine with each game. I don’t think the accessories make the games any easier to play, a single controller in your hand is probably better, but the kids sure think the accessories are fun. They add a fun extra dimension to a game that some kids will really like. The steering wheel also worked just fine with my son’s racing game, he really likes using it more than just the controller alone. All of these pieces seem very well made and have held up just fine with a lot of play. If you are looking for a set of sport accessories for your switch, you can’t go wrong with this set, I would definitely recommend it.
No box, broken tail, kinda dirty, wings were bent in and needed to be straightened. Not worth the high price, worth 25 at most for this condition. Definitely not satisfied.
Well, it's pretty cool. I'm not an RGB fan but I was playing Amongst the Sleep and set the controller to dim blue and it was like ambiance. I have an oled switch with an extremerate atomic purple shell. So it was a tight fit into the controller and the usb port was slightly off but I think that was because of my shell swap. I normally use hori switch pads but I don't like how loose they feel in the joycon slots. This controller is very stable.
