I got this controller to use with my Switch. The controller came very well packaged in a nice box. The box contained the controller, a USB charging cable, a custom charging dock, and instructions. The controller has its own custom charging base that lights up or it can be charged with a USB-C cable. This is a nice controller with a LOT of features. As indicated by the product description and all the videos in the akiya-switch.com listing, this controller works with several different types of devices and it is very customizable. After initially trying to connect the controller to my Switch, I quickly found out the controller has 2 modes - Switch and Xinput (not Switch). The controller I received was initially set up to work with anything other than a Switch. It took me a few minutes to realize that I needed to read the instructions in order to get it to connect with the Switch. The controller worked fine after I was able to get the controller in Switch mode and sync it up with my Switch. Red lights on the controller indicate the controller is in Switch mode. Green lights indicate Xinput (not Switch) mode. Visually, the controller looks nice. It has kind of a matte/satin black color with some gray highlights and a few LEDs on it. The LEDs are red if in Switch mode or green if in Xinput mode. Physically, the controller has a nice feel to it and it has a good weight. The palm rests are grippy and the buttons are clicky. The thumb sticks and triggers work well. The controller has a good rumble to it. The gyroscope works well with Tears of the Kingdom. I was able to easily use NFC cards with the controller. I've used this controller for several weeks now and I am very impressed with it, although it does have a lot of extra buttons and features I will never use. Overall this controller feels like a "pro" or an "elite" controller. I am a keyboard junkie. After using cheap 3rd party controllers with my Switch, this controller feels like going from a cheap membrane keyboard to a quality mechanical keyboard. I can see how this controller might be overwhelming for some people, but I like it a lot. Highly recommend.

Bigger than the original joycons. Handheld gaming feels much better now. Hands are positioned more naturally than before. Plus, this is shade of blue is one of the better colorways available for this product.

Bought it for my Lenovo Legion Go and the results is it's kinda still a tight fit could just be the Legion Go is too big. It does feel very cushioned. I like the quick release latch since you can really whip out your console quick. My only con is that I might have to invest in a smaller controller like 8bitdo or CRKD and a new battery bank but so far I like it

When playing in 2 player mode, we continue to run into a MAJOR glitch. When we get to the "Back to the future" level, we get all the way to the end, right before we fight Alien Cruel. As the game loads to that final level to fight him, it only loads 1 of the 2 players. And the 1 player can't move on without the other player. And the player that disappears never "spawns". This makes the game unbeatable in 2 player. Almost defeats the purpose of purchasing this game. (glitch is happening on Nintendo switch OLED) game is downloaded from Nintendo Store.

I was able to download the Mario kart game with no problem. I had played with that and the switch worked fine. Graphics are great. However, I had also bought 2 brand new games(sports, Fishing Star world tour) and got the card read error on both. I'm new to gaming so had no other cards to try but, I assume since both games were brand new, the cards were not the problem. The system software was current as well. Game is still under warranty, the Nintendo support site was easy to use to create my repair ticket and print a pre-paid shipping label. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the product. This thing should never have passed Quality control at the factory. I'll be shipping the package today and assume it will be a while before I get it back with the busy holiday season upon us.

I’m a casual strategy RPG player. This game is probably more for people that are hardcore into that genre. It has looong dialogue sections in between every gameplay segment. But thankfully you can fast forward through them if you’re not into the story. But the story is a huge focus in this game. So it’s relying on you getting invested in the characters. The combat is turn-based and might be complicated for young kids. But I think the game looks gorgeous. If this is your thing, you’ll love it. If you’ve never played a tactical JRPG before, maybe try some classic Fire Emblem for the GBA first. That’s a more entry level tester to see if this genre is for you.

First of all, say that the product arrived well packed as seen in the image. The Hyperion box arrived without damage or mistreatment. It arrived in excellent condition. When I opened the product, it must be said that the support in the middle to convert them into a pro controller had a slight scratch that was removed by cleaning it, surely it was from the same cable that they come with. The feel of the controls is good, in my case a little loose, but only slightly, it is not excessive, in portable mode or as a controller that will damage the gaming experience. The vibration that the controls have is also good. They fit just like the original Joy-con that come with the console (which are also not completely firm). The feel of the buttons is good and they respond very well without delays. They are light and the quality of materials and construction feels good. The joysticks are very soft and with excellent sensations. Hopefully they last at least a year and a half or two years. For now everything is fine.
