Been playing BOTW a lot since it arrived. Just wish I had purchased it sooner.
Definitely a worthy upgrade from other lever-less controllers. Community also is extremely resourceful and helpful on setting it up. 5/5 product and community.
We liked this grip SO MUCH that we ordered a second one to match my husband's tears of the kingdom switch. It does match our limited edition tears of the kingdom switch PERFECTLY! This grip transforms my joy cons/switch into a more fitted and comfortable pro style controller. It's such simple yet effective design. I've used a large variety of controllers for my switch includes pro style adapters, pro controllers, 3rd party controllers, to hori split pad controllers and this one is by far my favorite. The adapter slides onto my OLED switch with ease. It has these rubber bumpers along the sides that prevent my switch from colliding along the side of the plastic edge of this adapter. So that being said at no point in time is my switch scrapping along side the plastic of this adapter. In addition to that the controller adapter does sit flush along side of my switch. There is some slight resistance when sliding my switch into place but it's very manageable and reasonably easy to slide in and out of place as needed. The grip is a slight adjustment to get used to but, after just a few times of using it, I really couldn't go back to regular joy cons by them selves because my hands feel cramped and noticeably more uncomfortable. I would compare the feeling to using like an awesome ergonomic keyboard or mouse as opposed to something thats not ergonomic. It's a noticeable difference. Another cool feature about this adapter is that is have two little spots on the back of the adapter that enable me to store two physical hard copy switch games which is pretty cool and handy. I find it's easy to store the games in the game holders but, it can take a little more effort to get them out as opposed to just storing them in the case or somewhere else in general. Additionally I think is incredibly cool that this switch adapter has the option to come with a caring case which is a pretty big deal! The case enables me to feel like I don't really need to remove the adapter. ever. The case definitely helps waiting the portability of my switch. The case also has the capacity to store 10 other hard copy games but, thats it. The case really only holds the with the attached grip adapter and 10 games (not including the two that could be store on the adapter) That being said the case is a pretty manageable size and it's so large that it's counter productive to being portable. The next big noteworthy thing about this switch controller adapter is that it's 100% easily dockable!! It's a breeze for me to slide my switch into my dock without having to remove the adapter!! One of our docks is located under my desk where the cords are a little cramped but, none the less the switch was 100$ dockable and easy to dock with this adapter on. The cool this about this switch controller adapter is there's pretty much no reason to need or remove that adapter. The adapter also enables my switch to simply stand up straight with the little stand on the bottom of the adapter. I did however find that the built in stand on my OLED switch doesn't really work with this adapter. I personally find this not to be that big of a deal. I rarely ever play my switch with the joy cons removed. If I want to put my switch down to play it I usually use my pro controller so that being said this isn't that big of a deal to me. Additionally, I find that if I want to put my switch down and play with my pro controller with the built in stand on the adapt it works great! It stands the switch up straight and is easy to utilize. The grip transforms my switch into something else. It gives my joy cons the extend fitted comfort of traditional pro style controllers. Now, the adapter does add a smidge of weight to my switch in handheld mode BUT, it's very tolerable and easily adjustable especially when compared to pro style adapter controllers. The one negative thing I would note is that on occasion when sliding my switch into this adapter I have noticed that those little rubber bumpers along the side of the adapter can kind of stick out on the edge of the controller and be visible but, fortunately I can just use my nail to slide those bumpers back into place as they should be. That being said I am a little worried that about the durability and longevity of those little rubber bumper edges on the interior of the adapter. Overall, I cannot rave enough about this switch controller adapter. It works impressively well. It's easy to get used to. It's still very much so portable and 100% dockable. I don't foresee a reason to ever really have to the switch controller adapter off. The white looks good with both my neon pink/green joycons or the white ones that came with my OLED switch. I could not be happier with this controller adapter or recommend it more! It's a significant upgrade for my OLED switch. It definitely enhances my game play and comfort. It''s very useful and a well thought of design! I honestly and objective couldn't be happier with this controller adapter or recommend it more! This adapter is WELL worth it for anyone who enjoyed playing switch. (especially if you're a collector of Zelda)
Okay I fully admit that maybe I'm just an idiot but when it says lite/OLED in the title I thought that meant I could use it with my switch lite. However, the cord is Micro USB to USB A and the switch lite I have doesn't have a USB port, just a USB C port. So now I will need to get a USB A to a USB C adapter. It's not a hard fix but it just feels misleading. Had I seen a picture of the whole cord I would have known to get an adapter. I'm aware that I should have looked at the actual specs but I was dumb.
Looks cheap but works great. Allows you to connect your switch to a second monitor as well as charging your switch. It’s just a one click press of the button to switch back and forth from desktop to monitor play. Has three USB ports for charging your controllers or poke ball plus. No cables are provided. Great for travel or just having to connect to another room. We also use it as a charging dock for the switch lite. Great purchase.
I love it so far
This docking station is great.... Not only is ait a good way to interface standard HDMI sources like the Nintendo Switch, Steamdeck or a Fire Stick, it also allows for 2 pairs of glasses to be plugged in for some multiplayer gaming or coop movie watching. Awesome for travel and saved my sanity on a recent long drive.. The kids were content in the backseat playing Switch games and watching Netflix together on our 2 pairs of Viture One glasses! If you already have or are buying the glasses then this is a MUST HAVE accessory to go with them! I recently reviewed the entire VITURE One product line, which you can see on my channel (vrgamerdude on YouTube) and you can see more of my opinions about it there.
The box the game came in was a bit beat up didn’t pay it any mind when i checked inside the box for the game there was a little ripped plastic bag wit what looks like some sort of sticker holding the baggy tight opened the game and there was nothing inside. Returning the item hopefully I can get a replacement or a refund.
This "Ortz Wireless Gaming Controller for Nintendo Switch [FREE Analog Replacements] GamePad Remote - Best PC USB Computer Gamepad, Windows 7 &10, Android [TURBO BUTTONS] is honestly the best alternative Nintendo switch controller: Pros: - It's easy to set up (had some misunderstanding's at first but after actually reading the setup guide, it took less than 5 minutes) - You only need to pair it once and every time after that first initial pairing you turn it on, it automatically connects to the switch - I haven't tried it yet but I have heard you can hook up as much as 4 controllers to play local multiplayer. (I'm probably gonna buy 3 more to test that) - The vibration is really good, the motion control's work great, and the controller feel's pretty solid (not super heavy or anything, probably weighs as much as a ps3 controller but not as much as an Xbox one controller) - Instructions were very easy to follow - Cheap (pretty much half the price of a pro controller) Cons: - The thumbsticks have no actual grip on them but that is not really a problem because they come with like a rubber grip you can put on. - If your use to the Xbox controller's, the triggers on this controller feels a bit odd because there's less travel, but I guess even the actual pro controller is like that as well so that just takes getting used to. - And the only way to charge it is with us, there is no charging dock, or at least that I know of. So if you have multiple controllers your gonna have to charge them individually And honestly that's about it, I really like the controller. I just hope that they come out with some custom designs later but yeah that's about it. This is my review of the "Ortz Wireless Gaming Controller" I try to review items I need or have a strong interest in so in order I can provide a review based on a real genuine trial. The item listing displays the US / North America region version of the game with the "E" rating from the ESRB. The game that I received (pictured) came with a "PG" rating which immediately looked off to me. I verified from the backside of the packaging and through a chat with Nintendo that this was an international version of the game (Australia, it appears, and rated by the ACB), which can have implications for service, support, and DLC compatibility. I was told it would be playable, but I was not pleased with receiving a version of the game that I did not order. Promptly returned.
It does work with USA switch systems but be warned you WILL receive the foreign version. Mine came new and sealed (despite not including any DLC / codes in the case) and in perfect condition.
Mannnnnn....... I've found the unicorn of 3rd party pro controllers for sure!!! I couldn't be more happy about my purchase. The design is definitely unique and the size & weight feel good in my big ol hands, surprisingly. Doesn't feel "cheap" to me at all. Plus, it is quite durable, being as it's been dropped or accidentally knocked off the coffee table a few times already. Battery seemingly lasts for forever, surprisingly (around 4 days or so, at 3-6 hours of usage each time) being as this thing boasts a 1200MaH battery. All functions seem to work properly and as described. 6-axis gyro is good to go. Amiibo function works fine. Buttons feel just right when using them (not too mushy or too clicky). Connection to my Switch was seamless and flawless for sure, no issues whatsoever. Wake up function is on point. And one of my most favorite things about this Pro Controller........ is that skins made for an original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller..... FIT THIS AWESOME 3rd party Pro Controller!!! Looks absolutely amazing and matches the skin I got just for this controller very nearly, And this controller has all the features and functions as the original Nintendo Pro Controller (and joycons) for a fraction of the price! Like a 50% price difference actually! This purchase is a no brainer if you're unsure! Just buy the damn thing! You won't regret it or have buyer remorse. I definitely will be purchasing more of these bad boys as back ups and gifts! 100% recommend for sure!
I was initially skeptical about these new leverless all-button arcade controls, but after trying this controller, I’m now a full believer. While I’m no expert in arcade fighters, I’ve spent enough time with retro and modern fighting games to appreciate the design and features of this build. Build Quality & Setup: From the moment I picked it up, the controller felt premium and solid. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable that’s around 3 feet long—perfect for PC but a bit short for my Switch setup (fortunately, I had a longer cable on hand). The controller was recognized instantly by my PC, and everything checked out flawlessly on a gamepad tester. Each button was responsive, and activating the turbo function was straightforward. Features & Functionality: One standout feature is the OLED screen, which shows every input in real time—so helpful for verifying that all buttons are functioning as they should. The red switches have a smooth, short actuation distance that feels similar to a keyboard’s red switches, giving satisfying feedback without the loud clicks of some gamepads. The controller supports multiple input modes (Switch, Dinput, Xinput, PS4, and Keyboard) and offers 3 directional control modes along with SOCD cleaning, ensuring no accidental directional conflicts. For more advanced users, there’s a web configurator, and the “P5 Boot Steps” setting adds versatility for PlayStation users (though I haven’t tested it on PS4/PS5 yet). LED Lighting & Ergonomics: The LED lighting is a nice touch, and I find the multi-colored option useful for finger positioning—great for finding that muscle memory in intense matchups! Overall Impression: If you’re serious about improving your fighting game skills, this controller is a fantastic tool. It’s well-built, highly responsive, and gives you an edge with its precise controls and customization options. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to step up their game!
This controller is incredible. Being a huge upgrade from the joycons, it feels nice, very solid and the sticks and buttons are, for the most part, great. The sticks work well and feel good, although I don't know why only 1 is interchangeable. The bumper buttons feel good, however, the triggers feel a little bit mushy. Not much tactile feedback with them. All the buttons are great, other than the D-pad. The D-pad feels a little bit stiff, but it's not horrible. Another thing to note about playing while charging though, make sure you take the actual console out, plug the controller in, THEN put the console back in. Otherwise, it doesn't work. However, even with those small cons, I would give this controller 5 stars IF it didn't break on me after 4 days. The controller still works fine, but I bought this on January 25th and on the 29th, I heard and felt a small snap inside the right trigger. After that, my right trigger has been very loose to the touch. The right trigger will now be pressed with the lightest touch. I can't even rest my finger on it anymore, whereas I can with the left trigger. I may contact the seller and get it replaced, but I haven't yet, so I can't review the customer support for this controller. All in all, if it weren't for the right trigger breaking so soon, this would be 5 stars. EDIT: A few weeks later, the left trigger broke in the same way. They still work, but are very loose and I accidently press them all the time. Great controller, minus the triggers.
We bought two of these controllers, one for my wife and myself. The controller is large and has standard rumble and gyroscope built in. It’s missing HD rumble and NFC (amino) compatibility, not a big deal for me. It comes with a well built carrying case that can easily store three pair of joycons. If you need a case and tried of your fingers getting cramped up then I’d recommend these as a good alternative.
