I received it without any problems, I'm joining my game!
First off, as showed in the picture, if you grab the controller by the grip how it was designed, your thumb will be on your screen. I by no means have large hands, I'm a 5'5 guy, I can't even palm hold a basketball with one hand. The handles/grips are way too small, at least on the right side. On the left side, it is perfectly fine because your thumb naturally rests on the top of the controller where that Lthumbstick is. Because of this, it defeats the purpose of being an item you would purchase to play comfortably handheld. Instead of gripping the right handle with 3 fingers, you have to only use 2 fingers to get your thumb low enough for the thumbstick. I imagine they made it this way because they don't want the controller to be too large. However, it kind of HAS to be larger if it is to be held in a comfortable way. There is a reason the Xbox controller is known as being the most comfortable, they are FAT. This alone would be a dealbreaker for me, but there are more issues. The second huge issue I have with it is that there is something wrong with the thumbsticks. You know how all of the regular switch controller thumbsticks have 8 notches in them for the 8 different directions? Well this one has no notches, which I thought was awesome so it would feel similar to an Xbox/PS controller. However, I think that while the thumbsticks seemingly have no notches, it still behaves like it does. An example why this is an issue is because earlier I was playing the South Park game, and there was a quicktime event where I had to keep rotating the thumbsticks in a circle. I almost could not complete it, because it was impossible to make a circle. It seemed to be skipping the corners or something. What should have been a 30 second challenge became 1-2 minutes of frustration. I tested it more by downloading an fps game. I tried to make a circle with my crosshair, and it is impossible to do so. It ends up looking more like a rectangle. You have to take it very slowly to make a circle. The rest of the issues are not as deal breaking, but they suck and will likely annoy other people as well. The right thumbstick is a smooth plastic, with literally NO grip whatsoever. No exaggeration, they are as smooth as they could possibly be. I saw other reviews mention this and I thought it'd be fine, and I could just make sure my hands clean and dry and I won't slip. Nope, you are going to slip no matter what and its annoying. You could maybe make your own grip with like duct tape or something, I might have to. Next is the grip on the back/handle. While not as bad as the right thumbsticks, you are still going to slip even if your hands aren't sweaty or greasy. There is a very slight texture on the handles, but it isn't grip. It is just a front to make it seem like it has grip, it is a lie. Get some pine tar or duct tape and you can maybe make your own grip if you still want it. Almost everything else about the controller is fine. All of the buttons feel nice to press, although the Dpad and thumbsticks are kinda stiff, you have to press down on them harder than you do like an xbox controller or joycon, but I can live with that. The triggers feel nice, gryo seems to work fine, it charges fine while playing, doesn't seem to use up extra battery power, the Switch can breathe fine and the speakers aren't covered. Its slightly better than using the JoyCons, yet I still have the same issues I had with the JoyCons. Bad thumbsticks and very uncomfortable to hold. Been using it for almost a week, and I honestly see no reason for anyone to buy this. It solves none of the issues I had with the JoyCons in the first place. It is fine for games like card games, turn based games like chess, the really simple stuff. If you plan on playing any 3D games, shooters, or really anything that requires usage of the right thumbstick, don't get this. Even if all you play is Solitaire or Tetris, there still isn't any reason to by this since there isn't any grip on the handles.
Llego justo a tiempo, sellado y nuevo.
The product was superb, the game is super fun but it does take a long while to load, about like 45 secs to 1 and a half minutes. The gameplay is great and amazing, but the game studders and jerks around, the game itself runs at like 10 to 15 fps consistently. Do I recommend this game? Yes, but not on the Nintendo switch. I will conclude and say that you will save yourself from headaches caused by studdering gameplay if just go and buy on any other platforms but the Switch. This does go on sale often on Steam and runs smoother. Overall, Great Game. 4/5
Son hermosos mis muchachos.
I love JRPGs, but I have never played a Dragon Quest game, unusual though that may be. I've played every main Final Fantasy and Tales of game, Persona and tons of others. I love the stuff. I got this and was immediately hooked. The characters are great, the world feels good, and the combat system is good. It doesnt feel too grindy. I put in over 115 hours in 10 days, that should tell you how much I loved it. I have two complaints only: First, the music gets stale, quickly. The music isnt't bad, and it is fully orchestrated, but playing for 120 hours and hearing the same battle music wears on you quickly. The music is *good*, it isn't legendary like the Persona games or Nier. It needs more variety. Thankfully with the free DLC you can switch it to DQVIII music, at least int he overworld, which I found a lot better. Second, and this is a minor complaint, the Secret boss at the end exclusive to the Switch Version is incredibly difficult, and at times felt unfair. It took me a few hours but I managed to defeat it. I don't think most players will reach this however as it requires a lot of play in the post game and sidequests. All in all, this game is amazing value for your money. I recommend it.
Seems like a well done case with foam cut to fit our Nintendo Switch completely. Good o-ring design around the lid, lockable, and a pressure release. Foam the was cut remains so one can reconfigure as needed/necessary. In many ways, this is a pretty uncomplicated protection system that seems check the boxes off. I expect that it will be mostly water proof, but I haven't tested under that kind of duress.
Super este disco, buen juego para los pequeños amantes de las carreras
Don't know yet. Once I get a chance to play I will probably come back and update my review.
u need a ps4 controller if ur using the keymander with a ps5. u also need to own the ps4 version of the game ur trying to use the keymander with. i tried it with a ps5 controller and it couldn’t connect at all no matter what. (don’t mind my wire management i know it’s bad)
**UPDATE** After 6 months the Left Trigger broke. I have not dropped it and I'm not hard on controllers. I booted up Helldivers 2 and felt the left trigger fully dislodge when loading into a match. I've also had some weird hiccups with a 'Microsoft Visual C++' error popping up when reconnecting the controller. I was hoping this would last a bit longer than a regular Microsoft controller, but I am very disappointed. **Original Review** So first off, I absolutely love this controller... for everything but fighting games. Which happened to be what I tried this controller out for. I am a Pad player who uses the Dpad for fighting games and when you press the down button it has a tendency to rock very easily towards left and right causing you to input a diagonal instead of down first. As for the rest tho... I actually bought this controller on accident (meant to get the KK2 Max) since all my Xbox controllers shoulder buttons broke within a 1-2 years of use. The feel of this controller is amazing, for the price it rivals the Elite 2 easy. I like the back paddles but I don't love them. I actually meant to buy the Max version but got this one by accident, but the paddles on the Elite 2 and what look to come with the Max version feel more natural. Everything else is gold, the buttons feel great, the sticks with the direction LED's look awesome (though I wish you could change them to Red or another color) and the triggers are precise and feel solid and singular similar to the Playstation controllers rather than having a solid piece that might break after just a year or two of use (I'm looking at you Xbox controllers). Also has a macro function but I didn't find it useful and the back button mapping is super easy though I do like the Elites profile option a little better as you have to do a quick remap for each game you use them in. Lastly one of the coolest features that you'll continue to hit on accident is the Screenshot button via Steam. Where most controllers have their start and select, this has a home and screenshot key with out of the box compatibility with Steam. It takes some getting used to unless maybe you play a lot of PS4/5 since they're in a similar position, but overall it was actually really dope being able to just screenshot on the fly right on the controller. Overall if you've been disappointed with Xbox's controllers like me despite their pervasiveness for PC gaming, or you want a cheaper alternative to a lot of the elite controllers coming out lately, this is it. Honestly would have been closer to 5 stars if the Dpad was a little better and it had remapping/macro software with it, but also not having to download another program is a plus in itself so, take that as you will.
The controller seems to work fine, but a month and 3 days into having it the black part of the controller broke a piece out of it. For $60 cheep made and with it being a few days after the 30 days we couldn’t even replace it. Wouldn’t buy again.
Great joy cons! Awesome Zelda theme. The left joy-con is a lighter blue than the right one. Works perfectly with my Switch OLED
Ok, first off, never played these games but I am excited to play these games. That's why I gave the item four stars but there two things that hold it back from five stars and that is the fact that neither of the games can collect gold points for you Nintendo account (this part I don't mind too much) and whoever created this pin box must love annoying people because it's so frustrating to get these pins out without harming the box, this part really annoys me. Oh yeah just mention both games come on the cartridge.
