I have always loved the original GameCube controller ever since I was a kid. I’ve been looking for a controller that is as faithful as possible to the original while also giving a couple of added features to improve gameplay with new games. I REALLY like the fact that Hori added a L button to the controller as almost every game requires this and in the past I would have to map this button to another already existing button just to get by. Hori also added buttons for when you click in both joysticks which is also a necessary feature as a lot of games have you run this way. The Joystick and C stick feel fantastic and the controller overall seems pretty good quality. The buttons feel really good as well with a few exceptions which bring me to why I can only give this controller a 4 star rating. To me the Zr and ZL buttons on the original GC controller are one of the most stratifying and defining features of the controller. That tactical click you gen when you push down is fantastic. Hori’s controller lacks this. The ZR and ZL buttons are a bit of a different style and feel very squishy which I personally do not like. I don’t find this to be a HUGE deal but It is a bit disappointing. Overall I think if you are looking for a controller that is faithful and can be used with almost any modern game this Is probably your best bet. Loving it so far.

When I purchased this I thought “hey this would be great for smash bros” but what I got was a wannabe game cube controller. Yes it works and it does connect to the switch, but the buttons just feel cheap and uncomfortable to use

I recently purchased the Hori Nintendo Switch Wireless Battle Pad (Zelda) Gamecube Style Controller, expecting it to work seamlessly with various Bluetooth devices. Unfortunately, despite being marketed as a Bluetooth controller, it did not connect to my Wii using a Bluetooth adapter, nor was it recognized by my MacBook. This leads me to believe that it might only be compatible with the Nintendo Switch, which is acceptable but not clearly stated in the product description. This misleading information can be quite frustrating for users expecting broader compatibility. It would be helpful if the description were more transparent about its limitations. With that said, the controller felt well-built, but I was unable to test and had to return it.

This controller has a great comfortable grip, the buttons feel nice, and it even has some button settings to hotkey certain buttons for inputs. I use it to play Kazuya Mishima for SSBU and I’m able to input his moves with ease. The only downside isn’t really a downside; pairing it took a second to figure out because it’s not like other wireless controllers, at least ones I’ve owned. Other than that, no qualms with this controller whatsoever

Un hermosos control, aunque sufre de drift muy pronto, pero su refacción no es cara, y no se ha vuelto a presentar, compra recomendada con la advertencia de drift
