   I’m only an hour into this game but it’s a very enjoyable experience. If you played Skyward Sword on the Wii then this is almost the exact same game in HD with a few minor tweaks like autosaves, faster dialogue etc. The controls take some time to get used to especially if you’re using buttons (Only option available for Switch Lite owners).

   This is not about the game itself but the region by country as written on the game box. Even though I read the product description carefully and made sure it was in English and tried to research about the ASIN and also tried to read about the specific seller, the game I ended up receiving read that it was a product of the Middle East/ Southeast Asia! I live in the US and was expecting the North American version! I blame this on poor product description policies because they can be vague and non-specific like this on purpose to mislead customers. Even though the language may be in English, I am not risking opening the package and testing it out only to find that it might not be compatible with my Switch. I returned this item ASAP. Buyer beware of what you truly get!

   This game is pure adventure. It plays like the classic 3D zelda games (Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess) and is a little on the linear side, sure, but that doesn’t matter! What is important is the way that you feel while playing it. You will feel like a kid again, getting lost in an incredible world, secrets and dangers all around, striking out to explore new lands and get new tools. It has an incredible sense of progression, you get so many gadgets to play around with (Hookshot, Bow, Drone Beetle, even a leaf blower haha). I have sunk in 40 hours, I’m still not done, and I’ve been playing with the pro controller with no issues. Using the stick to swing the sword seemed unconventional at first, but after 20 minutes I was slashing with the best of them, and pulling off fatal blows and skyward strikes no problem. I missed it when it first came out on the Wii, and I’m so glad I didn’t miss it again. If you want to become the hero of time, duel a skeleton king on a pirate ship, fight an ancient imprisoned evil in a cursed sealed valley, play mini games and pay off a debt by delivering soup after trashing a tavern, then this is the game for you. You won’t be disappointed!!

   “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword” é um jogo maravilhoso, e o Nintendo Switch certamente recebeu um remaster à altura dessa obra. Mesmo que não seja o melhor Zelda que temos para o Switch (Breath of the Wild é que é a obra-prima obrigatória neste console), ainda é um Zelda e vale demais a experiência, sobretudo se você quer conhecer mais a origem cronológica dessa franquia espetacular.

   This was a breath of fresh air after having played the recent Breath of The Wild and Tears of The Kingdom games in the Zelda franchise. This plays more similar to the classic games like Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Link to The Past, etc. the dungeons are great. The opening to the game is SLOW. Text sometimes cannot be skipped easily as you can’t skip the text if the characters are performing an animation. Granted, you can skip the entire story scene if you desire. It also has no voice acting despite being cinematic in it’s story which is odd because they still have the characters’ mouths move.

   The controls take some time to get used to. I would suggest turning off motion controls…the Joycons are not a suitable replacement for the original Wii motion controls. Stick with the game to get past the slow opening and to get used to the controls and there is a masterful game to be had here. There are great dungeons to explore with puzzles to solve and some great boss fights. Music score is fantastic and is refreshing to play a Zelda game with a full soundtrack again after mostly ambient tracks in the recent two games on Switch.

   Like many, this was one Zelda game I didn’t get into when it first released on the Wii. When I did try it, thought the graphics were way too pixilated for my liking plus, the controls – wasn’t a fan. Suffice to say I didn’t get very far.⁣ ⁣ ⁣Graphics have definitely been cleaned up and the water colour painting style is a beauty to look at – although I wish Ninty would do a remake of their games rather than a clean up.⁣ Skyward Sword’s quality aside, I’d feel remiss not to point out that Nintendo, once again, takes a step forward and several giant leaps backward, as usual, when they locked the camera controls (in Button-Only mode) behind the L button instead of the sword, or ideally, have an option to switch it to your liking. Nintendo is somehow genius at turning minor tweaks into major problems. Like the Zelda & Loftwing Amiibo cause Nintendo decided in some super secret board meeting to make the amiibo $25 and lock a QOL feature behind it which royal sucks. Which as someone who collect’s amiibo not only did i buy it for MSRP cause screw scalpers but desided not to open it but get a cheep 3rd party amiibo card that does the same as the NFC chip in the actual figure.
