Es el remake de Ys III que, entre otras videoconsolas, estaba para Sega Megadrive/Genesis. Pues bien, transmite la misma esencia del juego, pero con sprites en un entorno 3D con vista cenital, con mazmorras remodeladas pero muy similares y un remodelado pueblo, además de otras mejoras, pero sin perder la esencia. Se nota una mecánica de juego añeja, de las de 8 y 16 bits, con una buena historia y un sistema de lucha centrado en la pura acción, teniendo la progresión por niveles, la recolección y el armamento de un típico RPG. El juego está en inglés, con voces en inglés o japonés, pero con un mínimo de inglés te enteras de la historia y, si no, dado que se centra en la acción y no tiene mucha pérdida, se puede jugar por cualquiera.
