Interesting game & addicting fetch quests and crafting system, the enemies are strange and is some kind of evil clouds that block you from entering different parts of the map, so in order to remove these clouds you have to find these spirits hidden within the game and collect enough of them to unlock that specific area. The issue I have with this game is I think it’s an import, because when I tried to register my game in the rewards system on my switch, it said I was unable to receive my reward coins. Keep that in mind if that sort of thing bothers you. Overall I’m having a good time with the game and I recommend it.

I’m a total newb to the gaming thing !! Old person…. bought a switch!!!
What a great distraction from the seriousness of trying to make a living and pay bills and do chores 24/7.
I bought a few non-violent, non-bloody games. One was wayyy to sensitive (at the lowest setting), haven’t tried 2 of them yet, because I’m kinda busy loving Yonder!
Excellent learning curve, beautiful graphics, and I might be busy with accomplishing a whole lotta missions for many months yet to come while running around all over this continent doing things like finding someone’s lost animals, busting up rocks, cutting down trees, bringing lumber to towns, going fishing, mining gems, bartering to save towns, and running a farm. And saving the continent from horrible purple haze with the help of magical creatures you earn along the way. Busy stuff! Great game! I wish work was this fun!

Fantastic game, no nasties!

My 11 year old daughter loved this game. No villains so they can just roam around and play. Beautiful graphics and a nice big map.

Personally, I love it. It is relaxed, interesting and a lot of fun. Best of all, I could see this being easy enough to play for a 6 year old (no violence, you cant die, everything is solved peacefully and the game is easy without being condecending, though reading is necessary). I wasnt the biggest fan of the art style at first, but it grows on you and the music is really relaxing and enjoyable. I started playing planning only to start the game and play for a few minutes… and now its 30 hours later and Ive finished the main story. So if you like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley or Slime Rancher, then this is definately the game for you, its mechanics and gameplay are similar but with a Studio Gibli feel, though it is a shorter game. HOWEVER, I have run into a couple glitches and issues with the game. The only reason why this did not lower my score is that I emailed the issues Ive had to the developers and they actually replied within a couples days. They have an update coming out in a couple weeks to solve the issues Ive had as well as some others that I havent. So the developers customer service is great too!

Super cute and fun. It’s like if Zelda and Animal Crossing had a baby. There are lots of cute little animals, places to explore and quests to complete. This is not a community or fighting game! There are no enemies to contend with; you simply wander around exploring and work to complete quests, if you don’t get totally sidetracked for hours with the exploring (like I do) that is! The gameplay is fun and the graphics are pretty amazing. It does “glitch” sometimes when the game needs to load content, but it is negligible and does not affect gameplay in any way.
Oh, and my kids like it too!

FINALLY! A game both my kids like that isn’t violent or competitive! I wish it was a multiplayer but still it’s great for what it is.
Graphics are close to Zelda Breath of The Wild and it has some Minecraft style crafting (in designated areas only) and super cute animals you can adopt.
There are no bad guys or fighting and you kinda have to try to kill your character (you can drown but basically you just fall in the water and get transported back to where you were previously). There is a spooky mist (or muck as it’s called but it just looks like black mist) but with the help of sprites you rescue/find you can get rid of that and open up the areas.
It’s quite pretty areas and some cute animals and you can do fun things like change your hair color when you find a hair dye or change the style. You have some really basic character selection for size and color but it’s not super detailed.
