This was an amazing deal! For a simple horror game, it really gives you a good jump now and again when you least expect it. Both of these games are packed with fun puzzles and unsettling environments that almost make you feel addicted to the game and wanting to keep playing.

This is a little horror game collection that deals with some intense stuff, is loaded with small cheap jumpscares, and has some cryptic puzzle like elements, but the way it presents it all is very compelling to me and leads me to keep playing. A lot of the monsters are based on Japanese spirits, so that’s another thing that also had me very interested.
This physical copy also comes with a 40 page art/developer commentary book and was quite the pleasant surprise that i was VERY happy to get. 🙂

Just be careful as it starts out dark and gritty with the death of a dog and it is a scary game with spirits and demons.

The game has no real jump scares, so many wouldn’t classify it as a traditional horror game. However, it makes up for it with a rather creepy atmosphere and mechanics, like a heartbeat in the controller, to get you on edge during the experience.
