It works pretty well for what it does. Being able to connect this thing to a Wii and a Computer is amazing, as well as the fact that it has bonus buttons like a second Z button. My only criticisms with it are that the controller’s d-pad is a bit wobbly and that the Bluetooth connectivity can be a bit finicky. Other than that, this controller is great. It’s wireless, has analog triggers, and the whole nine yards.

I wish these were bluetooth. The USB wireless connection strength is very bad. You have to be conscious of how your body is positioned between the controller and device or your connection will drop.

And the controls are VERY clicky, and not very precise. Pretty far from OEM in my opinion. The joysticks in particular are really bad.

That being said, they connect and work as advertised. I’m using them on Gamecube emulation via Android Dolphin on Retroid Pocket 5. Not terrible but not great.

This is an uncanny wavebird replica. The feel is very much what one would expect from the original official Wavebird and performance has been flawless. Button presses, joysticks, d-pad presses, all felt in line with the original wavebird. I had no difficulty using the USB adapter for my Batocera gaming pc and gaming was a joy. Highly recommended for folks looking for that original Gamecube experience.

I initially loved this controller. It’s pretty and I thought it functioned well. The usb c charging was great too.

But now, the left joystick is super finicky. It just stutters or plain doesn’t work at times. This makes gaming near impossible. And it’s not every once in a while – I’d say if I’m using that joystick to move my character it happens every 5-30 seconds. Drives me absolutely bananas.

I am disappointed because when it worked, I loved this controller. Oh well, guess it’s going in the garbage can.
