   I really enjoyed gaming with this controller for my PC and Nintendo Switch. Keep in mind that this is also compatible with Android devices. My review is going to be based on my experience using it on Android devices and on my Nintendo Switch. The best thing about this controller is how easy it is to pair up with any device. You have a switch on the back that you toggle from left to right depending if you want to put it in wireless, Bluetooth, Nintendo or app mode. The app mode can be a little tricky but that’s going to be used basically for your Android devices or a TV. You can also put it in Bluetooth mode and use that method to pair up with your phone. My Android TV took a while to register the controller but I think that’s more on the TV side and not on the controller. Not only do you get an easy to use switch to change from device to device but the controller lights up with certain colors letting you know when it’s paired. The controller aesthetically looks great in that matte ash white color scheme. I think the combination of white and gray goes well with each other. I do wish the controller had more weight to it just because I’m used to using an ELITE Xbox controller. The layout of the buttons are spot on. The size of the controller is perfect. The placement of the back rear buttons is extremely comfortable. I feel like a lot of focus went to the design and layout of the controller. The internal workings of the controller is also top-notch! You do not get any mushy membrane buttons but instead get micro buttons. The clickiness of the X Y A B buttons is incredible! But the star of the entire controller has to be the directional pad! I cannot say enough about how smooth the directional pad is. You can definitely feel the micro switches on the d-pad. This directional pad should be used for every fighting game! The controller has tons of more features that I haven’t touched on but for the regular gamer, just know that this controller feels really premium in hand and that the responsiveness of the buttons/triggers are on point.

   Just got the controller today. First impressions are that the controller feels nice in the hand, much like a normal xbox controller. all buttons feel nice and everything seems to work well out of the box with no fuss. Only weird issue is that it seems to hit the “start” button at random, but seemed to get better when I turned off vibration. Besides that, the controller feels pretty premium

   This controller was a pleasant surprise on the quality and performance. I had my avid gamer boyfriend who is picky about his controllers test it out and he said it was actually a really great controller with nice features. He liked the click of the buttons and the short stop feature on the L&R buttons. He was weary of the raised D pad but found that it felt very responsive and also liked the click there. He said the price is phenomenal for the quality, especially if there’s a sale (currently 15% off) It paired very easily to the Nintendo switch and to my IPhone using the toggle on the back. The con is if you are interested in any of the customization features they claim can be done such as changing the light, button sensitivity, and mapping, good luck! I downloaded the required app on my iPhone and was able to pair the controller but that’s it. I’ve hit a roadblock on the app where there doesn’t seem to be any way of actually doing anything. It’s possible this might work through a PC but the fact you have to go through so much trouble to possibly customize these features is a bit annoying. For now the controller works great right out of the box and most likely won’t worry about the customization part of it.

   Pleasantly surprised at the quality and craftsmanship of this controller. It’s packed really nicely in the box and comes with an adapter, cable, and instruction booklet. I used the adapter to connect the controller to my Asus ROG Ally without any issues. I could immediately navigate the Asus and Xbox apps with the controller. However I had to disable the Ally’s embedded controller through the quick settings for it to be recognized when I attempted to remote play my Xbox Series X. So keep that in mind if the controller appears to not be working. This is essentially an Xbox controller, and is even recognized as such by Windows if you use Bluetooth, so it is fully compatible and a great alternative to the official Xbox controller. Every button maps perfectly, and the “Home” button is the Xbox Guide button. The quality of the controller is really good. It feels heavy and premium when holding. I’m a huge fan of the “mouse click” ABXY buttons, it reminds me of an old Razer controller I had for my Xbox 360 years ago. The sticks have excellent tension, much better than the Ally’s built in sticks. I prefer the D-pad here to the official Xbox controller one, it just feels so much more like a traditional D-pad. The hall effect triggers feel nice, and there are trigger stops that are good for shooters. Overall for the price it’s not just an excellent alternative to the Xbox controller, but an excellent controller in it’s own right.
