The Touch Detective series is an underrated gem that finaly got the love it deserved. The title gives away the premise instantly, you play a young up and coming detective who must gather clues by touching objects. It is a very straightfoward point and click style adventure series where you use said clues to solve puzzles and ultimately resolve the case. What sets this apart is it just overflowing quirkiness, every character is fun and unique and even interacting with random touchable objects can lead to funny dialog or item description. The game plays very well despite being ported over from a touchscreen based handheld and the art direction is top notch. While you wont be playing for hundreds of hours, even with three games, you will happily enjoy the fun characters and the hijinks they get involved with from start to finish. 100% recommend if you want a solid point and click adventure with tons of heart and charm.

I loved the original two games on the DS and had hoped to play the third. I’m glad to finally get the third game on the Switch. The collection follows Mackenzie as she solves some strange mysteries, usually revolving around one of her friends, Penelope. This could be from people’s dreams being stolen to a car eraser match that ends up becoming way more epic than it sounds like it would be. I’ve only gone through the third one and enjoyed it, but it’s great to get the original two as well in one handy package.
