As someone who hasn’t played many Final Fantasy games, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line was a surprisingly fun experience! The rhythm-based gameplay is incredibly engaging, even if you’re not familiar with the characters or stories. The music, which is a huge part of the game, is fantastic—whether you’re a Final Fantasy fan or not, it’s hard not to appreciate the iconic tracks from over the years.
The game is engaging, easy to pick up (however I will add I did play the arcade version a lot beforehand), but any level of player will find the game fun and intuitive no matter the level of skill.
I definitely found it to be an addictive and entertaining rhythm game, and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves music-based challenges.

Having played the previous two titles on the 3DS, I was so looking forward to this new game for the first time on Switch. It hasn’t disappointed! The AMOUNT of content is crazy, with 100 plus characters, nearly 400 base game songs and lots of modes to try, it’s going to be one for the long haul and I’m going to be addicted to it for hundreds of hours! Must buy for Final Fantasy fans!

Seriously this game is so fun to play, took me a while to get used to the controls as the last games I played were the 3ds ones but I’m having a blast. Multiple difficulty settings so it should suit everyone’s skill level and there’s even DLC (on the Eshop for €) for songs for non FF games. So many characters to unlock that most people’s favourites are there!

These games are a great rhythm game in my opinion and if you love the final fantasy series music you are in for a treat! Blew my mind going back and listening to all the music, so much content in this game!
