This is an interesting game with a battle system I’ve never seen before. You get to choose what attack you want to use and see how it will play out which allows you to set up attacks that will decimate your enemies before they have a chance to hit you. The storyline is kind of dark, and I don’t recommend this game to anyone who has issues with bullying or suicide, as they are mentioned or are important to the storyline. Overall a great game, I will definitely replay it in the future!

Pretty great game so far. Technically, it isn’t entirely impressive, but at least it doesn’t ever bite off more than it can chew. It’s not a AAA game, so if $50 sounds like too much, wait for a price drop. It’s a remake of an almost 3 year old Vita game; I use the term remake lightly, only because I actually was expecting more polish. Maybe a simple HD port would’ve maintained a better framerate (at least in handheld). I love weeby crap & this is definitely that kinda story. Far as gameplay, it’s turn based SRPG. The music is awesome! But if you don’t like J-Pop then it might begin to irritate you. Idk why every reviewer & their neighbor keeps comparing It to Persona 5, cause if you compared just any Japanese game to THAT kind of standard, it’s not gonna quite stack up, is it? It’s kinda like comparing Smash Bros & Arcana Heart; yeah they’re both fighting games, obviously Smash is better, but that doesn’t automatically make Arcana Heart a mediocre game. Anyway, these rambles are to say I’m glad I purchased this & I plan to get many more hours of gameplay. Keep on bringing Japanese games to America for Switch!

I really wanted to like this game, but it’s thoroughly mediocre. The concept has promise and combat is fun enough at first, but the way social interactions are handled is needlessly tedious for minimal payoff and combat quickly gets repetitive. I was curious about the characters despite not being into Idol stuff but not enough to want to keep playing.
Also the music isn’t good enough for how few songs you’ll hear.
I bought this after hearing it’s by the writer of the Persona 2 duology, which I absolutely adore. This is not even close to as good. There’s just nothing truly compelling enough to warrant putting to with the slog. If this is the better version, my condolences for anybody who got the original.

Is just too weak of a console. I tried the PC version and even though the graphics are indie/budget like it runs smooth and it doesn’t look like vaseline has been spread all over your screen. Graphics aside, the combat is passable but rather repetitive. This is closer to P1 than the newer games are, if you can get it for cheap and are curious go for it. (I recommend the PC version)

If you like an action-adventure game than this Japanese role-playing game is one to try. Similar to other Japanese role-playing games with an interesting fighting mechanic.

The devs put very little effort into this it’s an awful game please don’t waste your money on this
Luis Corona Verified Buyer –
The game is regular in general, the story and certian mechanics are good, but the game is too complicated, the quest are almost incomprehensible, not fun at all.

This game was created by the people who did the Persona series (First game, Persona 2: Innocent sin and eternal punishment versions) and I feel like so much nostalgic and so like close to PlayStation home when I’ve played this remix version compared to the vita version that was released a year before this. Recommended to play at least once for JRPG fans!
