   The product isnt perfect, the game is unplayable! I dont have the patience to mod them (plus it voids your warranty). I purchased a complete product and expect it to work perfectly. It’s a shame that my 3yo daughter actually loves them, I wish I can get a replacement but item is no longer available

   My husband is a drummer so I got this for him for his birthday. It wasn’t supposed to be here for a month or so but ended up getting here within a couple of weeks. Getting the drum collaborated with your tv takes a little time but they give you different ways to do that. He looked up online the best way and ended up getting it matched up. Getting past that, it’s a great game! There are A LOT of songs and you keep unlocking more, just be aware that they are Chinese/Japanese type music. They have them in different categories though so games, anime, classical, kpop, but for the most part it’s that upbeat fast type music and not in English. I only knew a few songs, but once you play them a few times you get the hang of it. Overall, it’s a really fun game!

   I bought it because I had a rhythm game craving and I’ve always wanted to play this. The drum is very durable and the other reviews aren’t lying when they say you need to hit it hard. Fair warning that the drums can be pretty loud so it might not be for you if you live in an apartment.
   The game itself is very fun but somewhat difficult. I would recommend buying it if you like rhythm games!

   This game is fun. But it gets repetitive and to get more songs you have to buy them with money I would recommend if it would be fun for ages but it only last for a few weeks before becoming too repetitive

   This game is so much fun! I started playing with it as soon as I got the drum put together. Rhythm games are some of my favorites and the drum accessory provided a new way to play for me. My drum worked fine, but I suggest that you calibrate it before playing. It was working fine before calibration, but I decided to calibrate it anyway because it was new and it vastly improved the responsiveness. Also make sure you hit the drum with enough force. Being too gentle can affect the gameplay. I know it’s scary to think of smacking something so new with force, but that’s what the controller is made for. It’s very durable and large. Don’t be afraid to treat the drum like a drum. There are also many dlc you can purchase, and there are some free ones too. There are enough songs to keep playing and never get bored, so buying dlc isn’t necessary and the playability is hours upon hours of fun. Also it has many ways to play. This bundle contains the drum, but if you don’t have the drum, you can play with the joycons, the buttons on the pro controller, the buttons on the joycon, and the touch screen. So it isn’t just a stay at home game! You can play it in the car and it is still super fun using the buttons (and easier). There are different ways to play so each person that plays can have their own choice of how they want to play, and there are multiplayer modes to enjoy with the family.

   I used to play one of the arcade versions back in the day, so I was super excited to see a home version for my current favorite console.
   Motion controls are a bit fussy, but all other play styles work great – the drum is yet another Hori triumph and is incredibly fun and satisfying to play with.
   The song selection may be a little alienating if you’re not into anime or jpop so I may be biased here, but I think both the base tracks as well as DLC are a good time regardless.
   Also, anyone outside of Japan or Europe need not worry- no region locking issues on the Switch, and the European version has all text translated (character voices and songs are in Japanese).
   All in all, if you’re into rhythm games, you’ll love Taiko!

    The game itself is amazing. There is plenty of music to keep you busy for hundreds of hours and has muliplayer if you want to face off against a friend. The downside is that the drums that are included are pretty bad. You have to hit it very hard if you want your notes to register. There are modifications you can do to make it work better but that is if you want to dedicate time to that.

    This is a super fun game, and I’m giving it five stars despite some issues: one, you need to use headphones directly from the switch if you’re playing on a tv. The audio lag makes it unplayable otherwise. Also, we had a pad die within 24 hours, but was able to unscrew drum and a plug had come loose, plugged it back in and everything worked again.
    All that and I’m still giving it five stars, that’s how fun the game is.
