   I ordered this for the kids and it arrived as expected. I picked up other drum sticks as apparently most people do (I did this based on frequently purchased together recommendations from akiya-switch.com). Slightly disappointed that the drum hits were either lagging or not registering… So while the 3 kids did all fight to test the drum… They abandoned pretty quickly – one in literal tears sobbing from a combination of disappointment and anger. Not sure if it was an issue with the game or the controller which is why I didn’t return the drum or drop the rating further. I just don’t have time to figure out what happened. Oh well….

   The drum worked great with the Switch for this game. The USB cable was decently long. Some may want longer and that’s easily addressed with a USB extender, but this was a good length for me.

   The drum works well and is responsive. I have it on a coffee table and after a while, dust and grime causes the rubber feet to gum up and the drum to slide a little bit while playing. This was easily addressed by using something with a little bit of weight behind the drum like a beanbag or a 1-2 pound weight.

   I would consider buying this again.

   Exactly what I wanted for the Taiko Switch games. Works great, just needs the weights to keep it still but has the slots for water bottles. Only downside is it needs the USB plug so it’s not wireless

    (Reviewed on the switch and not Pc) I wanted to buy my own drum so I did but the box came damaged. The drum itself has slow inputs and some don’t even register. (only on 2 player) Get the more expensive hori drum It’ll be better than this one. Also please don’t get the drum sticks if you aren’t planning on modifying the drum as you can possibly damage the drum. But if you want to play the game casually get this drum as it makes the Taiko no Tatsujin experience way better.

    So definitely takes some tech know how to get this set up for pc there’s a lot of ready to use keybinds that you can look up and it’s also by default keybinded for the web browser version of taiko which if you haven’t tried it’s 100% and super freaking awesome you can play with your friends as well with multiplayer!

    It seems durable as I’ve beaten it to death haha! Definitely a great introduction to taiko!
