   Absolutely love this. I haven’t bought a new videogame system since getting the SNES when it came out. The Switch Mario game is so good, it is the ultimate HD Mario open world sequel to Mario 64 that i always wanted. There is stuff in the game that is also very special for longtime fans and the console is so unique! I am a clumsy person and drop the joycons on a hardwood floor many times and still no damage. The controllers are very resilient and i do not find them awkward in any way (in fact they are free-ing). They are very light and it is interesting to not hold a much heavier single device like the Dualshock or heavier Xbox controllers. I was not sold on the joycon concept when i heard about it but this has been a wonderful experience. It feels like a healthier experience with less impact on my hands! Anyways I also bought Zelda BOTW and Stardew Valley, highly recommend both as well! =) LOVE IT

   Who doesn’t love Nintendo. The console doesn’t come with the Super Mario Odyssey cartridge though, it came with a download code which is fine but we opened on Christmas and couldn’t download right away because the server was “under maintenance”. We figure they were busy on Christmas day with all the other purchasers downloading and buying stuff from the eshop. Got it downloaded within a few hours though.

   Awesome system, and comes with undoubtly the best addition to the switch library of games available. It is a download code, so for those looking for a physical copy I would suggest looking else where. Only down side is the battery life, but for how the well the system runs, it’s understandable. As well as the range you can be from the system with the controllers detached. I have been running into a lag of sorts from the response time after pressing buttons when too far, or depending on how I hold the them as well. Definitely recommend as a family console.

   I really like the switch, but when I received it I discovered something weird. The Switch box appeared to have been previously opened, and the Super Mario Odyssey code had already been scratched and used. So I had been shipped an open-box Switch.

   They were good about crediting me the cost to buy a new copy of Super Mario Odyssey, and the console itself works fine, but it still bugs me that I received an open box in the first place.

   My son has waited to get the switch cause he wanted this game…so when he saw this he was in love! I was worried when I preordered it that I would still not be able to get it(that has happened before) but it arrived the next day! It said 4-5 day shipping but I was able to change it to free 2 day. It does cost more than buying both separately, but you are buying this edition set so I think it is worth it.

   I was so excited that I got this bundle one day early! The first time I held the joy cons and the actual Switch was an awesome feeling. Although I had to wait till midnight launch (11pm central time) to download Super Mario Odyssey, it was worth the wait. I already spent a good majority playing the second world by just exploring around the environment. I also downloaded Mario Kart 8 Deluxe before the release of Super Mario Odyssey because I couldn’t wait to play. Honestly I’m really glad I had a chance to preorder the system.

   Looks amazing with the matte Red-Joycons!!!! I’m glad that I got the bundle! It came on they day it was predicted to and came a few hours ahead of schedule :D. Everything thing is there and in working order. The system is fast and efficient, with all the apps. Updating took about 5 or so seconds. The only reason this does not get 5 stars is because it comes with a digital code instead of pre-installed or physical and that it lacks a screen protector. The special edition case looks nice, though you could find better cases on akiya-switch.com. Honestly, if you have the $412.39 or so depending or location + 2 day shipping, you won’t regret it. It’s $10-15 cheaper if you buy the system and game separate but it’s your call. From what I can tell, this buyer seems quite reliable, so don’t be afraid of getting scammed. I haven’t done much on it yet, so not much more to say, but I highly recommend getting a screen protector to protect the screen from possible scratching in the dock. Also invest in silicon Joy-Con sleeves to protect them from years of use. To leave on a positive note, this was a satisfying purchase. Highly recommend you get this while you can or wait until Black Friday when it’ll be around $50 cheaper. I can not wait to spend my weekend playing Super Mario Odyssey! 😛

    I could not be happier with my Super Mario Edition Nintendo Switch. The innovation of this console is well beyond anything I expected. Add to it the best Super Mario game of the series, which delivers hours and hours of gaming joy, and you’ve got what I consider the best gaming experience of the year. I’m not a hardcore gamer, but am a devoted fan on Nintendo, and the Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda series. Time spent playing Super Mario Odyssey on my new Nintendo Switch has been one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

    Overall I’m happy with Switch and love the dual red controller of the Super Mario Odyssey Edition. My unit had a fan bearing that went bad almost immediately after purchase. Nintendo support was very hesitant to give me an RMA code as the CSR kept saying that some noise is to be expected. That’s true but if it sounds like a stick through rocks it’s broken. I was also very disappointed that I had to pay provided my own packaging and pay for shipping to get the unit repaired.

    Purchased this a month or so before Christmas when it first came out and so it stayed up on my closet, sealed until Christmas morning. We downloaded the game, which took forever and it seemed to work well after that. A couple of days ago it stopped working. Screen has red and blue lines through it and is a complete mess. Not playable. My children are 11&14 and have no dropped the game or anything, the reasons you would think something like this would happen. We were sitting there playing Mario Kart and BAM! Lines all over the place! I’m sure this is a Switch defect but I can’t believe we payed a small fortune for something to work for 2 weeks. Very frustrating!

    Haven’t had this much fun with a console in YEARS. Only a year into its release and it has an astounding number of ports and releases that make picking this up one of the easiest decisions ever. This particular version of the switch is the Super Mario Odyssey special edition that comes with a download code for the game (not a card, you have to download it after setting up the switch). There’s nothing different about the base station, but it does come with two really cool, bright red joycons and a really nice carrying/travel case. Feels great in the hands and I’ve been enjoying it both on my TV and handheld, but mostly handheld. It’s just so convenient! Excited for whatever releases are coming in the future! Nintendo really hit it out of the park with this one.
