   Did not know about Splatoon until last year. Thinking about getting one and two because three is amazing. Love the game love the weapons and different equipment types from weapons to clothes/shoes/headgear. Only down side is the motion sensor on the joystick, it was difficult to get used to because I’m the type of gamer who always hold my joystick at weird angles thinking it’s going to help my game play. Lol 🤣 other than that, Splatoon is amazing definitely must buy if you haven’t got it already

   Splatoon is a great classic with a fun online multi-player mode. There are 4 ranked modes online that require teamwork in a tactical setting. It is very fun to play with friends and is easy to spend hours on. The artwork is very punchy and colorful with great details and gameplay.

   As the third game in the franchise this one does not dissapoint. There are many specials, weapons and maps to play in. One thing that is lacking though is the battle music, a lot of it is not too good most notably c side but if you just want to play the game you can probably look past that. The story mode of alterna is very fun for any fans of splatoon doesn’t matter if they are new or are vetarans. Salmon run is very fun while very challenging it is very fun for players to play. I hope you enjoy splatoon 3 if you decide to buy the game.

   I received the European (PEGI) version when the American (ESRB) version is clearly shown on the listing, even after returning it and requesting a replacement. Seems to still work okay though, boy am I glad the Switch and its games aren’t region-locked.

    Splatoon 3 takes everything that made Splatoon 2 great and improves upon it. More game options, more cosmetics, banners, weapons, clothing. Locker’s are a cool addition, so are tickets and the more interactive / training lobby. The crater (single player) is solid. GrizzCo is also upgraded and fun. Online and Ranked is as fun as ever. Using the Nintendo App to purchase exclusive clothing items is pretty cool and there’s a lot of stuff found on the app that you can’t find on the game. Stats etc.

    Only problems I had were some online issues. A lot of people are experiencing the “Communication Error” message & getting disconnected from online matches. It happens here & there, not all the time. It wouldn’t be such a big deal, except when you disconnect too many times, Nintendo suspends you from play for a short amount of time. SO I’ve gotten suspended twice for a few minutes each time.
    *UPDATE* One of the leads of Splatoon 3 Tweeted that they are working on a patch to fix this issue.

    I have been playing Splatoon 3 since release and the Splatoon series during late 2019 on Splatoon 2 and I can tell you that’s it’s really worth it! If you love the Splatoon series and 3rd person shooter types of games then this is for you! In the first 10 days of getting it, I have already reached the highest rank! 🙂 Also yes, you do need Nintendo Switch Online to play, if you have Splatoon 2 save data I recommend you to transfer your save data to Splatoon 3 and get immediate access to Anarchy battles and 3 gold Sheldon licenses!     This game is the true sequel that the Splatoon series has needed after Splatoon 2 was quickly brought to the Switch as a kind of half-step sequel. The single player campaign is far more complex, and is absolutely worth completing, especially if you are new to the series and are still learning the game’s mechanics. The multiplayer is as good as it has ever been, although many maps overly favor long-range playstyles and one in particular (Mahi Mahi Resort) is a bit of a mess due to its cramped size. Salmon Run has been improved from Splatoon 2 and is still a blast to play with friends. As of this writing, the first Big Run event has ended and was a great experience! Overall, a very satisfying sequel and one of the few games to warrant a Switch Online subscription. If you’re new to shooters or otherwise not interested in the genre, I highly recommend giving this one a try!
