   This was the final Amiibo needed to complete my Shovel Knight collection. Although the gold edition has the same in game benefit as the standard, it’s still a great addition to my collection. Overall it’s very nice with metallic shades of gold and bronze. I’m excited to own this golden edition Amiibo!

   This is my first (and possibly only?) Golden Edition amiibo, so my review on it may be biased. I mean, I just LOVE how it looks and how shiny it is, and I would have loved so much to have had the Mario and Mega Man golden edition amiibo too. For its functionality, it works just like the regular Shovel Knight amiibo, so it’s really not all that, aside from being golden.
