   This is smaller than I thought it would be, but wow is this not only beautiful, but built really well. I suppose it’s affordable due to how niche it is and the dwindling popularity of fighting games, but the value for the price is crazy, and the buttons make executing combos in Tekken much, much easier. I only play Tekken so I can’t comment on the usefulness of this on other fighting games, but dang this is great.

   Overall this is a pretty compact and smooth fight stick. It has mechanical switches which don’t feel scratchy and have good travel. Supposed to be hotswappable, but I didn’t feel the need to put in different switches since the ones it came with are quite nice. Build quality and packaging seem really good. It has rotating RGB backlights on the keys. It’s visually appealing enough with the PCB design to leave out on your desk. The OLED screen is very responsive and shows which buttons you press instantly. My screen was installed slightly crooked though. The buttons are a nice texture and aren’t slippery. Be sure to install the rubber feet that come with it so the fight stick doesn’t slide around your desk. Overall, would recommend if you’re looking for a leverless fight stick.

   I recently got my hands on the Sehawei Arcade Stick, and it’s quickly become my go-to for fighting games. Here’s a rundown of my experience with it. First off, the build quality is impressive. This thing feels solid—no flex at all, and it has a nice heft to it. Whether I’m at my desk or playing on the coffee table, it stays put, which is a big plus when you’re deep into a game. The transparent acrylic design with customizable RGB lighting is a standout feature. It looks fantastic, especially in a dimly lit room. The lighting options let you tweak it to your liking, adding a personal touch to your setup. One of the best parts about this arcade stick is the responsiveness. The ultra-low 1ms delay is no joke. Setting it up was straightforward, though I did have to refer to the manual for configuring it with my PS4. The embedded web configuration tool is handy for tweaking settings to your preference. Switching from a traditional controller to an arcade stick took some getting used to, but it’s been worth it. The layout is intuitive, and having all the necessary buttons within reach makes executing combos much smoother. The SOCD cleaning modes and turbo functions are great for ensuring inputs are clean and precise, which has definitely improved my gameplay. However, there are a couple of minor downsides. For one, the EXT port is a bit confusing. It’s intended for extension functions but doesn’t support connecting your game console directly. Also, while the manual is helpful, I found myself wishing it was a bit more detailed in some areas.    If you’re looking to break into the leverless scene, these Haute42 controllers are THE way to go. They completely keep up with the big dogs on campus like Victrix, HitBox, Razer, etc., while not going anywhere NEAR their price point. The few sacrifices you make in getting one of these are minimal, such as having to update your own firmware and buying a converter to enable the controller for console play, but those are both incredibly minor issues in the face of everything this controller does right.

   So when Tekken 8 came out I decided I’m gonna get back into fighting games since its been a while! I don’t have a current console (aside from my PS4 and Switch) but I do have a gaming PC. Unfortunately at the time i didn’t really have a good controller for a fighting game so I was contemplating an arcade stick, didn’t want to spend much so I bought the mini haute box keypad… It was actually easier to get used, unfortunately my hands would cramp after awhile since it was small so I went a bit further an bought this one! Its been great although I have a few nitpicks, I can’t for some reason get it to work for my PS4 (it does state it can be used for PS4/PS5/PC/Switch) but its not a big deal and secondly I kinda wish the buttons were flatter and not propped up an out (though you can customize it to your liking) they do have a flatter metal one but I opted for this one, still for the price its worth especially for anyone wanting to try a flatbox like controller…

   I was looking for an affordable all-button arcade stick and have seen a many but never quite got me, I’m pretty choosy when it comes to this stuff ’cause its gonna affect how you perform in fighting games so..
   This one is different, its the best affordable all-button you can get and i don’t know why others haven’t tried this out yet. Quality-wise its great, its compact, looks durable, keys are easily mappable(you can change the button assignments without having to rewire), there’s a cool panel that shows you your inputs, multiple ports for your usb chords, and the RGB-lights you can set color-wise and pattern-wise. You can never go wrong here. Trust this brand if you wanna use an all-button stick, whether you ate a beginner or a pro or just wanna try things out. Highly recommended, more power to the manufacturer, hope gamers hear more about you.

   Got into fighting games recently due to Tekken 8, bought this as it would have been more comfortable than my keyboard and it has been great, everything functioned correctly out of the box. The buttons felt great, it was a little wobbly but with the included anti-slip pads I was able to fix it. Overall would recommend this to anyone looking for a leverless controller.

    The product looks and works exactly as advertised. Its build quality is immaculate and the swtiches used are some of the highest quality out of the box ive seen in terms of mechanical switch. They include lots of color options, even for the color a key turns while active. This controller sounds nice, looks nice, is built extremely and I would absolutely reccomend anyone in the hitbox market to buy this. Its smaller stature is quite confortable to use even with my bigger hands and i havent ran into an issue with it yet.

    This is my third leverless controller (2nd portable one) and by far my favorite.

    The buttons feel light and responsive to the touch, the slight clicking sound is ear candy, and the added heft on this model feels just right. Customizing the colored LEDs isn’t very intuitive but definitely worthwhile and a great way to personalize yours.

    I’m personally not a fan of the bouncy arcade style Sanyo buttons found on some controllers, so Haute42 was just right for me. Works perfectly on PC.
