I bought this unit to replace my barely functioning previous unit
It actually looks a lot better and plays a lot harder I prefer this model because it’s lighter than the new 3DS XL about the same weight as the regular size new 3DS
Helpful hint you don’t need a screwdriver to get the SD card out when you want to format a 64 GB card to FAT32 to have the ultimate Nintendo experience

The description of the product is very accurate, however, it failed to address that even though the crack was not visible from the distance stated in the description, it was still a devastating issue, as it was right above the screen hinge on the top screen, this caused it to slip from the opposite side and break the ribbon in the hinge, rendering it useless.

The Console is faster than its previous predecessor, and without having to worry about the bad 3D in trade for a slightly cheaper price is a trade off. However, there is no access to an SD Card, something I didn’t know about till after purchase. While about 30k blocks of data sounds good, its about 1-2 Pokemon games downloaded or even just large amounts of DLC away from getting completely full. If you mostly use cartridges for your games, its a good value. Otherwise, steer a bit clear.
