   This product is not only compatible as advertised, but the quality of the product is also not bad, though me personally I would have much rather preferred a lighter slimer body in my opinion with an easier way to attach like magnetic would have been smarter than the plastic piece that comes with it. Otherwise, the product doesn’t disappoint it is impressively effective for what its sole purpose is intended for..

   If you’re just looking for a battery pack for your Nintendo switch you may actually want too look for something a bit smaller/lighter.

   But if you’ve got yourself a pair of AR glasses this is what you’re looking for.

   Been using this with my Xreal Air glasses for some longer trips lately and this has been a blast. Usually, whether it’s my Switch or my Steam Deck pairing it up with my Xreal Air meant at most an hour before I was looking at battery issues. I haven’t timed a full drain yet but I know the last time I got at least 2 hours.

   The mount is a little tricky to get right but nothing too bad. Once it’s in place it holds the battery nice and securely.

   Reading from other reviews I was hoping this product was going to be more universal, to me it seems like an overglorified battery for a Nintendo switch and didn’t really do much else. For an external extended battery that’s a pretty steep price point, I’m unsure about the video performance as I purchased it for my ROG ally, but I was not very impressed for the price point.

   If you actually read the information and look at the photos, you can easily see that the product shown is what is being sold. Besides, just the glasses by themselves are over 3 times the price of this power dock… The fact that you’d think you could get glasses AND the dock for $100 is ridiculous. You can’t base a product review off your own incompetence.

   Now, in regards to the actual product, the Joydock works as advertised. Aesthetically, it looks great with the white OLED Switch. Was tested on a Steam Deck with Viture One XR Glasses as well and had no issues.

   Was looking for a pass through alternative to the Beam from XReal. All I wanted was something that would allow me to not rely on my iPhone battery alone (iPhone 15 Pro w/USB-C and DP out) while using my XReal Air 2 Pro glasses. Yes, I can and do already use MagSafe charging batteries to charge the phone while using the glasses but that is pretty inefficient (but a great small & compact solution for sure!). This is better overall because it has twice as much power as the MagSafe batteries I own as well as over twice the power that the XReal Beam offers. Obviously, this doesn’t offer the software features of the Beam, but from the reviews I’ve read of that thing… well, not having the XReal software isn’t exactly a negative. Literally just wanted to be able to fully power my glasses and my phone efficiently and simultaneously- this does that perfectly. I also tested to make sure DRM content could pass through and I had no issues watching content from Netflix while passing the signal through this unit from my phone to the glasses. As a bonus, this can be used with one of my kids’ Switches as well! 🙂 The unit comes with a Switch cradle that slides and locks into the back it. Very cool feature! If Rayneo is reading these reviews, I’d suggest creating another cradle that allows you to attach a phone in the same way. Maybe make it universal so any phone could be attached? Would be super handy and perhaps give you another avenue of sales… Anyway – great little unit!

    It fits nicely, charging speed is good but the UCB-C that connects between the joydoc power pack and the switch is lose so switch doesn’t know it’s connected.

    It is excellent to complement your glasses since they give you more battery to your devices so you can enjoy them for longer, it works perfectly with glasses of the same brand as well as others. I have been using it to be able to view and charge my Nintendo Switch, my Asus Rog Ally and my iPad Pro, without any problem, the only drawback is that it is made perfectly for the Nintendo Switch, and if you want to use it like I do on other devices, I recommend Use a specific dock for your devices.
