   I have a few stickless sticks and they are a bit more weighted than this one. Although unlike joysticks where you would move the stick around so you can go with less weight, I tend to lean my palm on the edges so I sometimes push the stick up accidentally. Hence I prefer a bit more weight to it.

   What i like about this stick though is the size and that it’s wireless. The touchpad I haven’t had a chance to test it yet so I’m not sure if it works. I also haven’t had a chance to test it with PS5, as I’m waiting for a converter to arrive.

   This is such an awesome controller. I’ve always enjoyed fighting games–starting with the early StreetFighter games–and there’s nothing like having a controller that gives them the feel of an arcade machine. One problem I’ve had is that the games I play are spread across a number of platforms including Nintendo Switch, xBox 360, my PC and even my phone. This device can handle ’em all and then some. The buttons are hot swappable and the device looks great–the buttons are backlit and you can customize the RGB colors to your preference. The buttons are very responsive and the controller offers five difference latency modes that can be tailored to the game you’re playing. It can connect via Bluetooth or a wired USB connection. A must have for fighting game fans. Recommended!

   These modern day fight pads may be the ultimate choice in fighting game controllers. My accuracy in Street Fighter, Dead or Alive, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and King of Fighters is never better than with this. You just need to put some practice in to get used to the new, all button setup. What I liked most about this model, was being able to hook up to my phone. Nowadays, I do a lot of mobile gaming with Xbox Game Pass and akiya-switch.com Luna. This controller will really come in handy once Sony finally gets it’s steaming going on Android. Till then, there are a few games that I play off Game Pass to hold me over. It did have a bit of trouble at first connecting to my phone. But after quite a few college tries I finally got it to work. May have been my phone or the controller acting up. But still, it didn’t connect right off the bat. The phone attachment works great for holdong mine in it’s case. Buttons are solid and effective. The controller itself is light weight. So, I can easily throw it in my bag. I also used it on PS5 with a Brooks adapter and it worked flawlessly. No problems there. Overall it’s a good controller to have if you want a portable fighting pad and a versatile hook up that along with a converter, can work for just about any system. Pretty darn cool.

   Leverless controls can be a bit intimidating for folks used to pad or stick, so going with a cheaper option when you are first starting out makes sense. This QRD controller is a perfectly good place to start.

   It’s compatible with a lot of systems out of the box, and you can always put in a converter pretty easily if you need to connect to a some of the more strict consoles. This one worked fine for me on Switch, PS4, and even using Fightcade on PC.

   Build quality felt fine, if a little light. But you can pop some weights inside to make it more to your liking. Same thing with sound levels. You can always pad the inside with some foam if things are too hollow for you.

   Tested this out on a Windows PC and worked well with SF6 but have yet to test on a PS5 native game. I like that it supports wireless play when you don’t need to play super competitively, otherwise it’s a pretty standard all button arcade setup with maybe licensing driving the cost up.

   I dont really want to call this a stick because it doesnt actually have a stick on it. You can program the buttons to simulate a stick but its just not the same.

   this butons-only fightpad has a lot of operability options..from wired to wireless, across many consoles and PC/phone (including a mount for mobile devices), and multiple ways to configure latency, button lockouts, turbo, and configurations. the buttons are very quiet with almost no tactile feedback, which isn’t my favorite, but i know there are those that prefer that.
