   Just like its counter part “Bravo” limited edition, “Alpha” is another amazing collection box with very good value of art book, music CD and all the games in one single package. I’m very happy to see both Bravo and Alpha sitting on my shelf along with all my other Switch games collection. Highly recommanded!

   A great collection of shooters that perform exactly as you’d want them to. Clean and simple menus and the important options are there. The physical items are way nicer than they had to be and feel like a deluxe package. Now I’m excited for the bravo collection!

   This is definitely a (Shoot-‘Em-Up) game or some like to call it, Shmups. Psikyo has an updated in game menu selection, unlike other versions of this game some don’t, & you have to choose it on the, Switch game selection. Haven’t played a game like this in awhile, I’m a bit out of touch, but it’s incredibly fun to play. It’s a shoot-’em-up through & through & not a bullet mayhem shooter game. It’s nice to play arcade, shoot-’em-up’s on the television, but it’s one third of the screen size. This game is ment for a full screen TV so handheld or, Switch light gameplay will be difficult. I tried a few of these games on a moble phone & tablet, & it doesn’t do these games any justice. I’m glad they made, ALPHA & BRAVO a two collection set instead of a three partner. Six games on a single, Switch cartridge is nice! If I buy a physical game, I want the complete game on the cartridge, & not have to download anything. You can adjust the game screen to include scanline effects, but it really depends on what you like. There is a filter for jagged edges, not purfect, but it’s a nice touch to have. I can’t say it enough, thank-you for implementing an in game select screen, because one was needed, & it looks way better. I’m definitely going to get, Psikyo Bravo next month, I just can’t get enough shoot-’em-up’s. Psikyo brings back some good memories as a kid playing, shoot-’em-up’s. I’m sure to get a lot of enjoyment out of, Psikyo Shooting Stars: ALPHA.

    Over the years, I’ve slowly become a self-proclaimed schmups connoisseur. I enjoyed playing a couple of the Psikyo digital offerings on the switch store, so decided to pre-order this Alpha package. I’m really happy with the games offered, they are all enjoyable in their own ways. I also think it’s really fun to have artwork, soundtracks, and a physical copy of classic arcade games. You could save a bit of money going digital (20 dollars less I think), but I think this package is worth the extra money. If you are a retro schmup fan, definitely give this a look.
