Fun game, but it lags a little on the switch. The load times and UI are slow for what is offered 3D dioramas. Devs could have easily reduced the system load by swapping out 3D background assets for 2D assets.

I bought this without knowing anything about it. It’s a deck building/ time management game. Playing the game campaign has 5 levels of competition with each getting a bit harder. The entire game is voice acted wonderfully. I was suprised by that. I don’t like reading alot of dialog so it was really nice. There are alot of characters you can befriend and eventually form stronger relationships with. They have great back stories. You can send some heroes on quests and they’ll bring back better ingredients to Brew your potions. Once completing the game you can continue playing and finish character stories and play for fun. I really reccomend this game. It was a nice suprise for me.

I really like this game. I love how expressive the characters are and how fun the gameplay loop is. I do not like having to restart a whole segment over because the in game mouse hand cursor gets stuck with no way to get around it without cutting off and restarting the game. I want to play consistently and this hiccup is pretty immersion breaking. This needs to be patched.

I received this game for the holidays this year, and I love it! I’ve already played so much that I’ve unlocked eternal mode (i.e. finished the main plot line).
The game is very cozy, with silly quips and sweet romances available. You get to choose if you want one partner or “free love” to romance them all – I very much appreciated being able to flirt with every single character. It’s all very PG and cute, with the final step in my one maxed out relationship resulting in a kiss. I think it’s fully appropriate for most kids in that way.
Brewing potions is a bit of a puzzle to get the right results, and I’ve enjoyed the quirks of trying to get all the little details right (taste, smell, look, etc). The haggling setup is based on a card deck of skills you can adjust each day, and it’s an interesting approach. I even enjoyed the stress mechanics, where failures during haggling increase your stress and spending time with your friends reduces it. Realistic and fun!
All in all, I think this is great if you want something cozy and low stress.
