Overview
- Payday 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op first-person-shooter where gamers get to play as one of four heisters as they rob and steal all across Washington D.C.
- Players are free to take on everything from robbing the local jeweler or big banks, to kidnappings and big league cybercrime – the goal is of course to reach the payday and get rich.
- Along with earning more money and becoming an infamous criminal, comes new customization that lets players build and customize their own guns and gear.
- PAYDAY 2 on Switch comes with full touch screen menu support. Also, there’s a newly developed rumble feature that responds as you, for example, fire weapons or throw grenades.

This game is very fun and addictive. I know people are hating on the game being behind from every other console and PC. Overall, the game still comes with a lot of missions and heists to play so this wouldn’t be a problem for new players that never played Payday 2. All though the FPS is capped at 30 FPS, it is still playable but does dip down when there is a lot of cops trying to take you down. It isn’t bad but if you want to play on only docked mode, don’t buy this version, just connect your PC to get better fps or Xbox / PlayStation. Ignore any reviews on how it is outdated because it is a new release still and they are working with Nintendo to get voice chat as that is the only feature missing that kinda defeats the core purpose of this game. But thanks for discord for fixing that somewhat so I can then talk to my friends while playing. I definitely love local multiplayer and is probably one of my favorite feature of this version since it is portable. Overall I would recommend this game towards any of my friends that has a switch.

北米版だがまるで日本専用じゃないかってレベルの日本語に隅々まで変換されてるので全く問題ない。
多数の武器に幅広いカスタムスキルやハクスラ要素などなどやればやるほど面白くなる、同じステージでも毎回全てランダム配置なので飽きない。
ほんと面白すぎて寝不足になる程です、基本協力プレイなのでCODなど対人に疲れた方などオススメできるかも

With 600+ hours on the PC version, I am a pretty big fan of PAYDAY 2. I was pleasantly surprised to greatly enjoy the Switch version of the game. The controls are comfortable and intuitive, the game runs just fine, and apart from being a few versions behind in terms of UI and a couple of other things, I still believe this provides players with a proper PAYDAY 2 experience. That is, with one exception.
This critical fault in this version of PD2 is the lack of communication. I can understand not including voice chat over a Nintendo platform, but some form of text chat or communication window should at least be included. Maybe a communication wheel with shortcut commands. After all, the up arrow on the D-Pad is totally unused at present, this would be a wonderful addition.
If you have friends who own switches and would be willing to get their own copy of PAYDAY 2 Switch, I would definitely suggest it. I haven’t had the opportunity to play LAN, but if you add any kind of communication, this game makes for a wonderful crime spree sit down.
