Pedí en Diciembre mi control y al día de hoy ya no funcional el botón A. Todo iba bien hasta que poco a poco se empezó a sentir menos “click” al presionar el botón hasta que un día dejó de funcionar. I always enjoyed the GameCube controller and liked how it felt. When I saw this controller, I knew I had to get it. When I got this out, the first thing I noticed when holding it was the textured extra buttons on the back. It was somewhat abrasive but luckily they sent an extra piece to replace it that was smooth and improved the feel. I also find that the back feels a tiny bit cramped with how I hold the controller. I think this is because the D pad and second thumb stick on the right side of the controller are rounded some on the back where the original GameCube controller was flat. I think if it weren’t rounded but flat, it would improve the feel. If you want to improve the feel, remove the plate for the two extra buttons on the back and your middle finger won’t feel as cramped. I like that this controller can change our the right thumb stick. The knob, while faithful to the C stick from the original controller, is somewhat frustrating when using it with modern games. My chief complaint is the D-pad. It’s not a D-pad. It’s a thumb stick with a D-pad on it. You press it and it clicks around like another thumb stick. You can’t click on just up, down, left, or right without also clicking at an angle (up-left, down-left) very easily. This controller is also a tiny bit bigger than the original controller but that is to be expected with the extra functions that are in the controller (rumble, Bluetooth, etc….). Overall, I really like this controller with some minor complaints. I also connected it to my Steam Deck, but I have to use a physical connection to the Steam Deck in order for it to work. I was also having some problems connecting it to my switch so I had to physically connect it to my switch as well to be recognized and then after that, it would connect wirelessly.

This is my new favorite controller for Mario kart. I love the aesthetic and the feel of the casing and the button feedback is very precise and crisp. About as good as it gets at this price point!

Un 10/10 a este control, lo compré por su versatilidad ya que tengo un switch y un Wii y con el Nyxi warrior puedo usarlo en ambas consolas, el control funciona perfectamente y es sumamente sencillo conectarlo al dongle, lo único que no me gusta es el análogo izquierdo, me quefo con el original de GameCube pero como tal el control funciona excelentemente

I’m a huge fan of the Nintendo Gamecube and its controller. I saw this and thought it was going to be the perfect controller. The buttons feel very different from the Gamecube’s controller. The buttons have a light click to it and the shoulder buttons don’t have the satisfying button press at the end. This makes it hard to play with games like Super Mario Sunshine. The controller is uncomfortable. My fingers felt like they were scrunched between the handles and the body of the controller. It does not feel like this was play tested at all. The texture of the back buttons make it feel like sandpaper. I do like the larger sticks though they feel like sandpaper as well. My hands feel cramped after a few minutes of play. Other than the discomfort of using this controller, it works fine. I regret buying it.

Buttons are super smooth and click. You can switch the joysticks to different types without taking it appart!! The performance to me was on par connection of a pro controller and sticks but had the gamecube layout. This controller perfect replacement for the powerA gc unfixable analog stick controller. Its alittle wider for the layout but its easy to adjust to. My super smash ultimate gameplay has been better online with the accuracy of the sticks that I can fit pads on. My pika quick attacks are not sd as much. Perfect value for a pro gamecube controller that goes cross platform!!

This is probably the best modern GameCube Controller you will EVER find. Sticks are amazing, buttons have mouse clicks (even if it isn’t my thing), triggers are analogue and work well and have locks. And Dpad is amazingly clicky as well! The back paddles are interchangeable, so you have the option of not having them (Thank you!!)

And most importantly: It works on Switch, PC, Gamecube, Wii. And ANYTHING else you can connect a Switch Pro Controller to! This means you can finally have a GameCube type controller to play any PC game you want with without lacking a second bumper and clickable sticks!

I’m just a mere casual gamer, but I was very impressed with this controller. I also have the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition Wired Gaming Controller which is fantastic so I’m mainly comparing it to that as it is on the same level. First off, you’ve got to love the look of this thing. It looks just like a classic GameCube controller at least from what I can remember. Button placement is a little different than what we are used to these days but it’s not a big adjustment. Build quality seems great to me. The controller feels very solid and it has a nice weight without being too heavy in your hands. Great features. You’ve got hall effect joysticks and trigger locks which is something I never knew I needed until I had them. Buttons all have a nice clicky mechanical keyboard feel including the D-pad. You can also remove the back paddles if you so desire. You also have the option to remap some of the buttons although I haven’t tried that. Also, it comes with some additional accessories, including an adapter so you can actually use it with a GameCube! Assuming you still own one. Responsiveness. This is the most important thing. I tested it two different ways. I used it via USB on my gaming PC and via Bluetooth on my Steam Deck. I ran a course in WRC8 a few times on each device. I didn’t notice any real difference between USB and Bluetooth response times, I didn’t do quite as well on the Steam Deck but I chalk that up to me not being very good at rally racing games. I did have to make adjustments to the in-game sensitivity on the steering in both cases to get a decent result. The Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition Wired Gaming Controller worked great out of the box as far as that goes. But this is hardly a dealbreaker. Overall, the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition Wired Gaming Controller is a bit better and this controller lacks a few of the features that that one has, but keep in mind that this one is both slightly cheaper and Bluetooth so if you’r comparing the two of them, that might give you a reason to choose this one over the other. Either way, I recommend this controller if you’re looking for something better than average that is still within your budget.
