I don’t usually do reviews but I had to for this one. I decided to get three controllers on sale from three different brands. This one beat them all, I like this controller a lot. It’s not just good for the price, it’s just good in general. Has a nice weight and perfectly proportioned for me. I have at least 25 hours of play on it so far, never had any problems.
Triggers seemed a tiny bit weird at first as they are different but still very good. Every button feels firm, and works great on PC. When I play the switch I use it for smash also where it works well. I used two Power A controllers for my Switch/PC that were just eh. I also use gamecube controllers and I tend to prefer official Xbox controllers as I also have an Xbox One. Beats most of them in comfortability for me. I don’t know if I got lucky with getting one that works well but if you have average to large sized hands. This is a no brainer for me.

Works great for me. Nice to not have to worry about beating up the $80 factory joycons on my switch. Only thing I’m not sure about is the wake-up function. When hooked up to my docked switch, the controller just blinks in sleep mode, and pressing home doesn’t wake it. But otherwise I’m very happy with it.

The controller feels great, good amount of give and click to the buttons, the analog sticks feel great, includes nice rumble, and it comes with a turbo button so you can replace rapidly hitting a button with holding a button. I have a Nintendo Switch, but I actually bought this controller to be used mostly on my PC, and there is one problem, but it is a big deal to me. X and Y are swapped and A and B are swapped. The layout matches a Nintendo Switch controller, but when I plug a Switch Pro controller into my PC, it is recognized as a Switch controller and so the top of the four face buttons is recognized as the top of the four face buttons (even though it is labeled X on a Switch controller and Y on an Xbox controller). The problem with this controller is that my PC recognizes it as an Xbox controller and Y is still Y as labeled on the controller. This means the top button is now the left button. If the game you are playing allows you to remap the buttons, you can do that to get around this problem, but if you use any other controller, you will need to reset your button configs again. Again, it is a great feeling controller, so if you want to use it on your Switch that’s great, but not so much for PC.
