   I really like the turbo function of this controller! I like it too much that I bought all the colors and give it to my friends as gifts! We pretty much just use it for Animal Crossing New Horizons, so I can only make comments on how it performed with ACNH. We all hated the fact that we have to keep pressing on the ”A” button when crafting fish baits. And this controller 🎮 definitely makes crafting fish baits a breeze!! ALSO, we usually turn on the turbo button and leave the switch on throughout the night when there are shooting stars/ meteor showers. That way we can just go to bed and not worry about missing a single shooting star. And that’s how we have been harvesting our star fragments and it WORKED!!🤣🤣 With the 3 color choices for the Hori controllers and it’s low price, I would definitely recommend it to everyone who plays ACNH!

   I had a Hori controller before for my original Nintendo Switch. The controller served me well for years, but it was time for a new controller. The old one still works fine, but since I got myself an OLED, I thought I’d upgrade.
   The new controller is outstanding, easy to use and I like the turbo feature.
   A good, solid wire controller for mainline and arcade archive games on the Switch. This will also work on PC, but it is optimized for the Switch. (Xbox vs Nintendo button layout).
   Overall, very highly recommended.

   I purchased this knowing I would not be using it right away and left it in its packaging until I needed it. And when I opened it and tried to use it it did not work at all. Multiple systems and many attempts, still not working. Contacted seller and was told they could do nothing because it was past the return period and the original manufacturer said they couldn’t do anything because I bought from akiya-switch.com. I’d recommend not buying from this seller and buying from the original manufacturer because at least then they can help if it breaks.

   I love this simple controller and the turbo function on it. As someone who plays Animal Crossing religiously and needs to make 40 fishbait in 1 go, this controller lets me do it without having to spam the A button for 15 minutes. The controller is a decent quality of life update for Animal Crossing players until Nintendo implements something more substantial in game. It’s decently shaped for my small-ish hands and I don’t really have an issue with cramping or not being able to reach buttons easily. I find the removable D-pad to be strange and I don’t enjoy feeling the indent in the back for the D-pad storage. The cable is about 3m long, so you won’t be able to sit far back, but my Switch is connected to my computer monitor, so it’s not an issue for me. Doesn’t have amiibo function nor does it have haptic feedback (controller rumbles), but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. I also find it works well on my PC when I’m playing games on Steam that support controllers. For about $30, this was a pretty solid investment for my needs.

   Bought this because I finally bought my first video game console in decades and it’s a Switch. I did my research and saw there were a lot of complaints about the Switch’s included controllers, and since I already had a Switch Lite for travel and intended the Switch to be an at-home-only device I wanted something that could handle hours of play (and some admittedly rough handling). I also wanted something wired, because I already have too many things that constantly need to be charged.

   So far, this works great. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and I can play for a couple hours at a time without any hand fatigue or issues. Plug and play, works like a charm, and it was a decent price. Good value for the money so far, I think.

   The D-pad is absolutely awful, but the turbo feature is pretty cool! It’s super useful for moments when game devs expect you to mash to fire instead of hold the button, and probably helps prevent me from getting arthritis by some margin. Also the joystick seems to continue functioning as expected longer than a few months unlike the scam products Nintendo, Sony and Xbox all seem to put out, that’s a huge plus.

    It’s a pretty decent wired controller and nice that it works on pc and switch. I really dislike the dpad however as it’s just a mold on top of 4 buttons. Need to be super deliberate and clean with actions like DPs for them to come out as diagonals come out super easily.

    Hori has done it again when comes to making good 3rd party controllers. This wired controller is a very nice addition to my collection Nintendo switch accessories. The face buttons, d-pad, and the L and R bumpers and triggers feel very nice to press, very responsive too. The inclusion of a turbo function will definitely come in handy and will make playing my games more fun. However if it’s possible, there is something I would like to see from this line of controllers in the future and that of course are video game character themed variants. So far I’ve only seen basic colors such as red, blue, and black, and all though those variants are fine enough on their own, I would love to see these wired controllers get the Hori split pad pro and wireless Hori pad treatment and be given video game character inspired designs. The two variants I would especially love to see in the future are of course Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man. They are the two video game franchises I play the most on my switch, so I would love to see specially designed wired controllers of them. But that is just a suggestion, overall this wired controller is great as it is. I hope Hori will continue to keep up the good work and keep making high quality third party controllers for the Nintendo switch for 2023 and beyond.
