This device acts both as a USB charger strong enough to charge any device as well as being a docking station for devices that can transmit to a larger screen. Unlike they typical charger, this device allows a way to connect microSD cards to devices that can view or access the files and interconnect devices. The subtle distinction is easily missed since many charger look the same (I have several devices that look like this one but don’t provide anywhere near the features).

I bought this to use with my Chromebook to add a monitor and USB sound card to make some music with Causetic and G-Stomper Studio for Android. I do wish there was integrated audio and Ethernet, maybe they can ditched the SD card for the TF for the next model up, but I’m using a professional audio interface and it’s not that big of a deal to use a USB 3.0 Ethernet cable, but that adds latency that is bad for making live music. My monitor also has a 3.5mm output, but there is no mic input. I ended up buying two of these to use two Chromebooks!

What I like is charging three devices all at once, the steam deck HDMI port out, and it can read micro SD/SD cards from my steam deck and gaming laptop. Plus, travel size!

At this price, this should have at least been an aluminum bodied hub, but instead its cheap feeling plastic. The instructions booklet even on the description page mention 65W, but the plug is definitely only 60W – IF THAT. My Samsung phone does not recognize it as anything more than a 15W plug, while other hubs have registered as 25W or more. This makes me doubt it will work in some cases. My Nintendo would not connect half the time, and did randomly disconnect a few times mid-game, which makes this an unreliable option except for charging. The concept is nice, but poorly executed in my opinion. As a travel hub, this might be nice as the plastic body does make it much lighter if you can get it to work, and I would suggest changing the cable for a better one to avoid short cable blues. “Meh” at best, otherwise.
