For a long time I was stuck deciding between the switch and switch lite, and I’m so glad I went for this one!
It’s still perfectly portable like the lite, but you can also play on the TV if you feel like it (which is super satisfying when the games have really gorgeous scenery!)
You can be super lazy and just lie on the couch with the joycons in your hands without having to hold up a screen, or you can play games like mario party where swinging your arms around and being energetic is a massive part of it.
And you can customise your joycons too (if you have an extra $100+)! I would definitely recommend the switch, especially if you like playing at home with your friends and family! Just give everyone a joycon each or take turns, and you’re good! Mine has already paid for itself in fun.

This is my first Nintendo console and I’ve had my eye on it for ages. Finally decided to pull the trigger and I have no regrets. The console works great and the games are really fun. Being able to use it on my commute to work is amazing and the battery life is mind blowing. Having the option to dock it and play Mario kart with friends is awesome. My only complaint is that games are very expensive for what you’re getting compared to games on PC, Xbox, PlayStation.
