   Vale la pena cada peso pagado por el Kit de Labo, pues cuando recibes la caja, la abres, revisas todo su contenido y comienzas a armar todo, te das cuenta que la calidad del cartón y los cortes son excelentes, comienzas a pensar que son obras de ingeniería aplicada en un material tan común como el cartón, después de eso cuando terminas de armar un juguete y lo pones en acción con el switch, se genera una sensación de asombro y quedas maravillado por la perfecta simbiosis entre ingeniería, programación y un material excesivamente simple como el cartón. Contiene literalmente una cantidad infinita de formas para jugar, pues no solo se queda en los 5 juguetes que puedes armar, si no que puedes programar prácticamente lo que se te ocurra y crear tus propios diseños con la simplicidad o complejidad que uno desee. Pero estas son solo palabras que solo transmiten una parte de lo que realmente de la experiencia y como cualquier otra obra de arte, para poder apreciarla y enamorarse ella es necesario estar en vivo junto a ella para poder recibir y apreciar todo lo que es y representa. Recomiendo amplia mente Nintendo Labo para cualquier poseedor de una Nintendo Switch que tenga Familia pues tanto grandes como pequeños van a pasar momentos muy agradables descubriendo todo lo que Labo puede ofrecerles!

   Mein Sohn findet es super. Er hatte schon viel Spaß beim aufbauen. Aufbauanleitung ist klasse. Kartons sind sehr stabil. Funktioniert auch alles. Daumen hoch.

   I bought this game based on the reviews and I’m so glad I did. At first I thought it would be a waste becaus it’s just cardboard and not an actual game with a story line; a “one-and-done” so to speak. I’m very please with the quality of the cardboard pieces and if handled with care they will last long after the games become “overplayed”. It really does give the same amount of “game play” as a regular video game except it’s better. You are engaged physically and cognitively. (While not true physical exhersion there is SO much to be said for cognitive skills development when engaging in hands on building activities.) It employees engineering, problem solving, organization, patients, step by step instruction following and game play fun. We got this for our 10 year old and she has spent days putting it together and playing the games. She is high functioning autistic and will sometimes give up on things she finds to be “too difficult” motorally or cognitively. She was very into this game and only need help when having to attach stickers to the house game.

   The Nintendo Labo is one of the most innovative ways to enhance gameplay I’ve seen in a long time. While I am an adult, I love building, decorating, and designing things so Labo seemed like the perfect game for me. The kit comes with five toy-cons you can build: two RC cars, a fishing rod, a house, a motorbike (handle), and a piano. Each one has small parts to go with it as well, like strings, rubber bands, and marker stickers. It also comes with the cartridge for the game. Most people are apprehensive about Nintendo’s use of cardboard but I think it’s actually better than making plastic add-ons. For one, it is easier and cheaper to replace. More importantly, it is better for the environment and it can be disposed of when children outgrow it, rather than sitting around collecting dust. The cardboard is actually quite sturdy and high quality. As long as it is not outright mishandled, I think it will do a good job holding up. Additionally, I love the ability to customize your toy-con to suit your tastes and make it unique to you. Making the cardboard structures is incredibly fun–reminiscent of putting Lego together. For anyone worried about the strength of the toy-con, there are actually a lot of reinforcing pieces that help make certain otherwise flimsier parts more sturdy. Cute, witty comments pop up while you make your toy-cons, guiding you through the process while occasionally cracking jokes, making it feel very human. The Discover section is a fantastic place to learn more about the engineering behind the toy-cons. Three characters converse and guide you through the science behind the genius of Labo. You can view cutaways of the toy-con and test the IR camera in a particular mode. There are also sections on easily repairing broken toy-con, troubleshooting, and creative ways to customize. There is even basic physics learning involved with certain joy-con–no doubt a good way to get children into physics. Toy-con garage is the best part about the kit. It works through very simple input-output coding. You put in an input (pressing a button for example), select an output from a list, and connect the two to make the switch create the output. I love that this gives kids the ability to make their own toys, which will no doubt spark a love for engineering and design within the next generation. There are a ton of different things to explore and secrets to find within the game. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves to use their hands and be creative!

   I really freaked out at first because the item I received was the Japanese version of the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit…NOT the U.S.A. Version as pictured or described in the product details or many reviews. I thought I’d been mislead by all the terrific reviews, and was screwed with less than a week until Christmas. I decided to test the game cartridge and was happy to discover that the game works perfectly, all English language, no glitches or issues. Other than the Japanese packaging it’s exactly the same as what you’d get in an American retail store. I’m giving 4 stars for the near fatal heart attack and the underwear I ruined when I opened the packaging.

   Amazing game, very creative. The whole family has been entertained for hours already, we really like how we can all contribute to build the cardboard parts and the mini games feel a lot like those awesome original Wii sport games back in the day that were very intuitive for all ages.

   The item comes with some extra cardboard pieces in case you break by mistake some, but you definitely have to be careful cause the cardboard can bend wrong for sure if you don’t pay attention of where the seams for the correct bends are located.
