   Wanted an upgrade for my switch, especially since my 1 year old got a hold of my right joy con and kinda messed the stick up. Ordered these to replace my grey set. Product price was great and shipping was faster. Received mine two days after purchase which is good for where I live in Rural Texas. Would recommend to others most definitely! Only thing is a wish the color was more of a crimson but these still look great and that’s just my opinion lol.

   I wanted to get the Neon Blue after seeing a youtube video. The Blue looks so good against the black/grey of the Switch. Shipped on time, box in perfect shape and the Joy-Cons work with no issues (like the left joy-con sync issue, which I have never experienced, even with the grey joy-cons which came with my system.

   I love the matching colors. Feels nice not having to worry about if a seller took care of their joy-cons if you went the pre-owned route! The most common fault of pre-owned joy-cons is people for some reason slides the wrist straps upside down. They struggle getting them back off and that causes the square clip on the inside to chip or become rounded. This led to the joy-cons sliding off during play in hand held mode without the press of the release button on back. I ran into this same issue buying used.

   After over a year of regular use, the original set I purchased finally wore out (if I had a rupee for every time Link walked right off a cliff without me touching the controls…). The product arrived swiftly and without any defects. The straps are included and smoothly attach and detach to the joycons. The colour doesn’t match the box or advertising, they’re cyan instead of sky blue (I would be surprised if anyone cared, but worth noting).

   El nombre indica Color Rojo Neón, pero uno al ver la foto del producto no se espera el color tan diferente al verlo en la vida real jaja.

   Está muy chido el color pero es demasiado chillante, eso puede distraer al momento de jugar.

   La calidad pues de lujo, y al parecer ya no tiene el error de la primer generación de controles.

   Adjunto una foto con un fondo oscuro, para que vean a qué me refiero con lo chillante del color.

   Le da un look muy único y llamativo a tu Switch 😉

    I love the red but what I realized, which is a little troubling, is that the packaging for specifically the red ones seems to have the color way off. It’s really very neon (as they all are) and I’m not sure why that doesn’t come through on their own packaging. I will say that wen I photographed it on my phone, the color difference didn’t come through as well as it appears in real life. Anyway, if you are interested in seeing a closer color on your computer screen, you might try looking up the color rocket red. Now I finally have a second set so that I can send in my first ones for the connection issues.

    Also, for some reason I thought that they would come with a usb c cable as the pro controller as well as the charge grip does but w/e I have enough of those now. Really doesn’t make sense that they would anyways.

    Great color to go with the main body of the Switch. In fact, I like these even better than my custom clear Joy-Cons. Edit: The problem with all Joy-Cons is that after a while, the little lock stopper mechanism wears down or chips, meaning your controller will slide off the Switch if you apply some pressure. One might even speculate that Nintendo intentionally ships these knowing they wear out quickly so as to keep the Joy-Con sales up… I’ve gone through three sets since the Switch came out and it doesn’t matter how careful you are, eventually that little spring-loaded stopped wears out. Here’s hoping they produce a Gen 2 of these eventually.

    While these are a bit more “neon red” than what I was expecting from the pictures on akiya-switch.com, they are still a great set of fairly unique colored Joy-Cons. I prefer these over the other mix and match color combos out there that are available for the Switch, and as far as performance goes, they are the real deal. I may prefer these to the Grey Joy-Cons that came with my Switch. They offer the same great performance, and are a bit more rare than the other ones that are readily available in the big “Box stores”. Plus, with the same great performance of all the other official Nintendo Joy-Cons, why not “strut your stuff” in front of your friends in style.

    The first time using the controlled the adjuster on the strap broke. This is my second set of controllers and never had that happen before. You would think for the price it would be better longer lasting material.
