   This was something else, the rework on music and graphics is outstanding, a love letter to the original game, simply amazing, pixel art at his finest another level, and the re works of music by Zuntata is superb.
   Also the adding of 2 new playable characters makes this the definitive version.
   The only downside for me is from the original game, and is that the story is really simplistic and just an excuse of the context, but could be more deep seeing the amazing world concept of the game.
   But overall a true gem.

   The game arrived in perfect condition, but the manual and other trinkets were missing. For what I could gather, there is a printing error on the instructions for the switch version, showing ps4 button imputs instead of switch ones. It is not the seller’s fault because the copies come sealed but it does sour the experience for me a little bit. It is rare this days to come across games that come with manuals, (not including special editions or limited physical releases), but it is unfair that the manufacturer resorted to remove the manual from some copies while customers pay the same amount of money instead of just correcting the printing error for future prints. Regardless, this game is a must have for arcade beat em up fans. Ninjas, androids, beautiful 2d sprites, fluid animation and two new characters to play as. You can’t go wrong with this game.

   Awesome game I owned back on the snes but now with new added features like co-op, new characters (which you have to unlock by playing the story) and the sprites look just as good and vibrant on the switch definitely well worth it. Only down fall was I didn’t receive my copy for a few months it was on back order but it arrived NEW on top I didn’t receive the extra goodies that came with my copy so just beware and it could of just been a manufacturing issue, but, Overall it’s a great couch coop game with a buddy just wished they would of added more levels along with more story besides just a simple time attack mode and could easily be beaten just a little over an hour but like I said still a great fun classic beat em up.

   Cool blast from the past! Classic 2d brawler with an arcade feel! Lots of cool extras included. Only wish they would have made 2 styles of manuals instead of including a PS4 style with all releases(even the switch version like I bought). Not a deal breaker though😜

    It’s great for what it is, awesome remake of one of my more favorite snes games. It retained for the most part the same kind of kickass feeling you would get playing the original plus more goodies. The only thing I had to say is that some of the additions to the game was gimmicky at best, like the added movesets for some characters worked well while others not so much. I felt it was under utilized and less impactful than It should of. All in all its a great sign for nostalgic gaming, and I wholeheartedly wish for more of this which is why I felt like it was worth the asking price. That might seem crazy to some gamers, me being a budget gamer at heart, have no regrets on this purchase.

    Loved this game on the Switch, but I couldn’t beat the final boss in single player mode. 😤 May be playing with co-op could have been a better scenario. Lol. Played it, it certainly one of the best beat’em up game out there !

    ***PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE GAME ITSELF BUT INSTEAD A REVIEW OF THE PRODUCT*** So, an interesting thing about this game is there are quite a few different versions of the physical game being released depending on Publisher, Platform, and Country of Origin. It seems that the one akiya-switch.com is selling (and presumably other general retailers) can be considered the “wide-release” version, published and distributed by Softdistribution. The interesting thing about this standard release, is all the bonuses you receive that I personally was completely unaware of when ordering, as it is not in the product description, and most research about this game will bring you to the “Stritcly Limited Games” release. In this release, you will receive the following: -Physical game case -Game Cartridge -A Small poster -Two character biography cards -Manual (please keep in mind your manual may actually display the buttons for the PS4 rather than the Switch) -A set of 3 stickers -Reversible cover art I was blown away when opening up this game, as I had no clue it would include all of this. The reversible cover is especially interesting as it’s one of very few Switch games that still have the name of the game on the spine, so it can still go on your shelf with no issue!

    Finally Ninja Saviors is here. I was very happy to finally get this game. I never played the original, but I am really enjoying it. It has a couple characters to start and you can unlock a few more. The game play is classica and I highly recommend it. Beat em ups are always good on the Switch. The game comes with a shuriken key chain which is a nice bonus. In summary I would recommend it.
