   Been waiting 22 long years for a new Pokemon Snap game. One of my favorite N64 games too. Now the time has come and it’s everything that I hoped. Now with internet we can easy share our photos we take in the game and it’s awesome. I like the added touches of adding stickers and things to our photos to add a little more to them. If you loved the first game, you should love this one too. A must have for Switch. 🙂

   I have a Nintendo 64 and one of my favorite games to play on it was Pokemon Snap. It is my favorite game console by far but it just doesn’t look good on the newer TV screens no matter what I do. Since I’m not a huge gamer, I decided to buy myself a Switch, knowing a new version would be coming out soon. Right after getting the console, I bought this game. I wanted a physical copy instead of digital so I never have to worry about not having access.

   This version is just as fun as the previous 64 game, but comes with more features and tasks. It’s simple, easy to play and can be enjoyed by any age group. It worked flawlessly on my Switch and gives instructions so you know what to do along the way. Something some other games can lack. It’s nice to kick back, relax and just take some pics of Pokémon’s in the wild.

   This game is A MUST PLAY!! I”e already put six hours in and have mostly just been playing the first island over and over again because I’m having such a blast finding out all the special interactions. It’s like the original but HYPED UP! So many unique and charming interactions, the star system for classifying types of behaviours in the photos is genius. Seriously, if you liked the original, you will love this! If you’ve never played the original and you’re not sure if you’ll like this – if you’re a fan of looking at creatures in their natural habitat or interacting in a natural way, you’ll get something out of this game! I’ve laughed a few times too because some of the interactions I’ve seen so far are so silly and fun. In my opinion, the incentives of discovering new secret interactions or new pathways to take will keep me coming back until I’ve sifted through every last bit of content this game has to offer! It’s gorgeous and a must have for any Pokemon fan who’s been let down by Gamefreak’s treatment of Pokemon as a franchise and was hungry for some more Pokemon-centric content with an emphasis on Pokemon behaviour and daily life. It’s everything I ever wanted in a Snap sequel, a real dream come true!! Edit | The game has had time to settle in, and with now more than 50 hours clocked, I can assure you that this is one of the most enjoyable Pokemon experiences of my life. The level design is very nicely done, making you need to think to get certain rare Pokemon interactions to fill out your photodex. Every time a new Pokemon shows up, or I get a crazy interaction I didn’t expect, I’m overjoyed and feel like a kid again. The amount of discovery in this game is thrilling. Seeing Pokemon interact in their natural environment, especially interactions caused by your interaction are just a pleasure through and through. If you can get into the gameplay, which I sincerely hope you can, the game is just incredible. I do have some minor gripes about the gameplay when it comes to interacting with Illumina Pokemon, as I find their gameplay much less engaging than the puzzle-game styled gameplay of the majority of the time, but the pictures you can snap are still worth it since the Illumina Pokemon are all so majestic. The photo editing is really fun, and the online compenents are satisfying and, in my opinion, make uploading your best photos worth it! I really enjoy custom tailoring my profile to have a mix of artistic photos as well as comical ones. I hope you will play this game!!!!

   It’s not for the ones seeking action but it’s a really fun relaxing game. Perfect for chilling out an a nice afternoon. If you are looking for something relaxing, love Pokémon, safaris and taking photos then this is a game for you.

   No game has captured our entire family like this since Animal Crossing (ages 5-42). It’s beautiful and we’re still working through the levels after several weeks. Sort of a Duck Hunt feel and is fosters curiosity and persistence without being too challenging for the 5 year old.

   Oh SNAP! Jump back into the world of pokemon and enjoy the art of photography in Pokémon SNAP. Its been a long time coming from Nintendo to bring back and update the pokemon snap game. What a delivery. You get all the nostalgic feels of the original. Great updates new challenges, different species of pokemon, and new ways to discover more.

    Very fun game. Graphics are amazing, story line seems sort of short but still lots to do and pokemon to photograph. Research tasks add to it for sure, just wish that they would add experience towards leveling up in the different areas.
