Very fun sim. Not like other atelier games. Main focus on town building.

It’s a really cute game and I am absolutely enjoying it but it’s a spinoff game in the city building and management genre. So it’s not for everyone

I love this game. Anyone who likes resource management and citybuilder games will love this spin-off of Atelier. It is also paying tribute and homage to older games via means of literal isekai’ing their lovable characters into one game! The RPG combat and crafting (aka synthesis in alchemy…) mechanics are still there, and the exploration is gimmicky in its own way. You don’t get to see much of the world you’re exploring, but you do get to see how pretty your town/city develops based on your creative flare! If you like to minmax, this game will be a nice challenge because of the way it is designed. The tutorial is fairly long, but mostly because of all the nicely voiced cutscenes (which you can skip if you want, but half the fun of the game is listening to their overdramatic comedic script lol)

I cannot recommend this game. The difficulty of battles was fine, but the main gameplay was difficult. I had to carefully ration my time and desperately try to upgrade the town as quickly as possible, and was forced to restart several times due to the sudden jump in difficulty. I didn’t bother finishing it, as there was no way I could get my friendship up with the different alchemists high enough fast enough to finish the tree storyline with the timeframe I was given. I just quit, not wanting to start over once again. I might pick it up if I get bored later, but it’s just a difficult city-building game with some turn-based fighting thrown in on the side. If you’re wanting an Atelier game, play Atelier Lulua instead.

Its not the best addition the the atlier franchise, kinda like sims cause youre building up a city, and you maintain friendships via chores they ask you to do maybe a monster hunt or synthesize a item. its rather boring and a bit repetitive. i wouldnt reccomend for anyone over the age of 10

Got it as a gift for my daughter. She’s obsessed with the building mechanics.

Awesome game, all your favorite atelier characters are back, the whole gang and it has fun town building mechanics.

Fun game, part harvest moon with development of a town with some visual novel added in. Nice slice of life type game. Characters are cute and most from previous games.

At first I thought this would be like harvest moon, and was a little unhappy at first, but this game is pretty awesome.
It’s a menu based town building game, and has turn based combat elements as well. There is a lot to do, I’ve been playing non stop since it was delivered.
You have two stages per turn, city building stage, then a stage where you can interact with characters / research stuff / do a combat level run.
The game is actually difficult, I’ve had to restart over 4 times already.
