It’s great for collective family fun but the reason I wanted to get this game was to get my son of the Tablet / Phone apps, which are great, but sometimes have ads that are distracting. There are so many great music-making and music-related activities in the Android/ios app, that my son loves and still uses. I waited a long time to finally have a Switch, and then financed the game for Xmas since it was quite costly ($80). Although I was disappointed they didn’t include any of the music-related activities and the other features of the original games, we can still have fun playing the games with MSM characters, which are similar to Mario party games.

Received this game in time. I was excited to play the singing monsters from what I remember from the app ads. I was looking forward to making a singing choir of monsters. Thus game is a large selection of mini games that you compete against others (does have offline capabilities). Cute game but not what I was expecting.

Purchased as a Christmas gift and it wasn’t quite what I thought. My son watches YouTube videos of a guy adding monsters to different islands to create a song. This is not that game, lol. It’s cute and has some of the characters from the original game, but this does not let you create songs on various islands after breeding the different “band” members. That was a very odd sentence to type out.
