   It has all the basics to be an incredible game, it’s just too short. Also, it doesn’t port over to Nintendo switch very well, the game struggles quite often, particularly when multiple enemies were on the screen.

   There are numerous visual bugs that happen in the switch version of this game. One such bug seems to get worse over time if you continue playing while the game is in a certain mode, and the lag makes it harder and harder to play until you need to quit and restart to clear memory. But the worse bugs are the ones that make the DLC completely unplayable. I have not found anyone who can tell me otherwise yet, and the company has not responded to my email, but it seems that on Switch, it is actually impossible to complete the DLC – the game crashes when you go into a certain temple that you must complete in order to complete the DLC. The game never should have been released like this.

   Maybe it’s good on a different system but on switch it’s absolutely horrible. I didn’t have to get very far in the game to realize this. I returned it for a refund. I can’t bring myself to keep it in my collection.

   From the start of the game it feels like you’re playing Dark Souls on the Switch. The atmosphere is identical. There are added game play mechanics like hardening that takes a while to master, but if you’re looking for a Souls game, give it a try.
