   My son loves that he can be the legends in the HR derby. He had last year’s version and is very happy with the updates.

   Recently RBI 19 Baseball released (March 5th). I have an Xbox One and Switch. So, I went with buying it on Switch. RBI 19 improves over RBI 18. It is the same arcade style baseball game. However, there is more depth to it. You can now do a 10 season franchise mode. There is also a single season mode. The HR derby is not only still on the game. But, you can now pick any player (current or legends) to use. Also you can pick who all the CPU would be in the derby. You can play 2 players locally. But unfortunately there is no online play on Switch. Still very playabe IMO. The graphics have been updated a little bit. And they have more realism applied to the stadiums. The crowds are also 3D now. And move, giving the atmosphere more life! The players look more like the actual players. The jerseys are also more accurate. The sounds are pretty much the same. They have new music to play inbetween innings, after a HR is hit etc.. the caller/announcer is a different person. As far as commentary goes…unfortunately there is not. The gameplay is the same for the most part too. This game is a budget baseball game. And should not really be compared to The Show. If you like some details etc..but just want to be able to pick up a controller and enjoy some baseball, this game is likely for you! You can play it with Joy Cons, Pro Controller, and the Power A wireless Gamecube controller for Switch. I’ve been enjoying it. And recommend the game!

   My 8 year old lost interest quickly. Graphics and sounds were good. It just didn’t seem to be as fun as I thought it could have been.

   Perhaps the player’s age and preference (shooting over sports games) had something to do with its overall enjoyment.

   I bought this game as it had Alex Bregman in the front but clearly it doesn’t have him on the one that I received?! Why is that and is this the real MLB RBI Baseball 19 game or not?! I’m really annoyed because I paid a lot for this game!
