Trying to activate the DLC I receive the error 2813-0055 because this version is NOT for the United States. There is nothing on the package to indicate this and it is a horrible user experience. Nintendo needs to do better. Ubisoft needs to do better. akiya-switch.com needs to do better. Sadly none of them care as they already have your money.
A thread on reddit mentions how to change your region (do this on your PC) and download if you happened to buy this anyway. We are trying that tonight and it’s downloading now. Best of luck. Also the drop down when changing your region on the Nintendo site is wildly out of order.

This game improves on the original in a lot of ways, and while I did miss some of the elements from the first game, I grew to love these changes. There’s a lot of strategies you can use, and plenty of optional sidequests. The boss fights were a bit long, but are fun and cinematic. The soundtrack is phenomenal, as expected, too. The new characters like Edge and Rabbid Rosalina are fantastic to play as and have interesting personalities. Sometimes the main story can feel a bit too easy, but you can adjust the difficulty and there are side quests that will really test your skills. Recommended.
