   The first one I ordered came in broken, but I’ll give credit. It was replaced fairly quickly, and the new one came out pretty nice! *Not 5 starts because of the following* 1. This kit DOES NOT come with the screen adhesive. 2. No instructions is a downer, because must people do not know that you are supposed to adhere the top glass, and the LCD together or it will shift around inside the system. 3. Lack of any type of pry tools included is also a bummer. So if you buy this kit, you must know what you’re doing, and also be set up to do this type of work.

   After my son dropped his switch lite for what seems the millionth time, the screen died. We could hear noises of the buttons moving to different items but no visual. After looking at several replacement screens here on akiya-switch.com for a quicker arrival time, I settled on this screen. Even after a few of the reviews seemed a little less than stellar, the ones giving it a good review sold me on it. And I’m grateful for those because this was such an easy install. It does not come with adhesive, so if you’re looking for that to be included this wouldn’t be what you want. I did see another review about the “E” on the top right hand corner, and I did also have this issue but I unassembled the switch lite again and found that there is indeed a film that can be removed, though there is no tab to indicate this. Gently use a plastic tool (a guitar pick is what I used) to get it started in a corner and boom, it’s easy to remove.

   My only gripe is that the “blue” is actually teal and matches my husband’s switch lite, not the true blue of my son’s, but he thinks it looks cool so it’s not a deal breaker. Just a FYI if you’re trying to match the blue color, this is in fact teal, not blue.

   Amazing! So just to note first off you will need to buy your own glue I recommend T-700 you can find it here on akiya-switch.com as well. This is a two piece screen it needs to be attatched to your switch shell and then glued to the LCD. Here is a comparison next to my sons torques switch. I modded my switch to clear purple and in the process I broke my original screen on the removal. So I got this one. Also I do recommend buying some Thermal Compound as it would be good to replace after you take the switch apart. Anyway since I’m rambling on I’ll go ahead and end this review! Also there is a good tear down video on YouTube. Guys name is (make stuff do more) step by step remove and replace

   I was doing a shell swap on my switch lite, and somehow I ended up ruining the screen. After a lot of consideration, I went with this listing, and I’m now thankful that I did! Keep in mind that it doesn’t come assembled, the LCD and digitzer are seperate. If you want them to be more secure I suggest getting 2mm electronic repair tape. I also used that tape to connect it to the shell itself since the original adhesive didnt work anymore. I also used a teensy bit of it to make the LCD and digitizer stick together, and it worked well! I bought the white color, but it came looking more gray (which I now realize that I like better!), so just keep that in mind!

   There’s only a film on the back of the LCD and the front or the digitizer… No clear *anything* to peel off on the front of the LCD without damaging it. Is this “E” just something I’m gonna have to deal with..? Or did I miss something..? Manufacturing error..? It’s my first and only time reinstalling a screen like this, but there wasn’t really a tab for anything to peel off.

   This was the perfect set up for my kiddos broken Nintendo Switch Lite. I can usually figure things out on my own, I have 4 boys so not paying someone else to replace screens is a huge bonus. This came with everything I needed. I do recommend making sure you have the correct tools, as Nintendo does require a Y screwdriver. I also watched some YouTube videos and was able to complete the replacement myself. Everything was packaged very well and worked perfectly! I looked at a lot of other listings before choosing this one and I’m so glad I went with TheCoolCube.
