The gameplay itself is solid. The graphics are good and everything looks nice.
There’s a certain part in the game between the main character and the nun early on that turned me against the game so hard. I tried to keep playing, but I stopped enjoying my experience and deleted it out of my Switch. I can’t give this game a good review. I just don’t find assault funny and find it less funny when it’s played up for laughs.

Let’s be clear here; The game is fun and enjoying the crap out of Madam Dronya and her quest for power. BUT the damn game needs a patch because at one point if you don’t save at every NEW room you find and if after new info dump happens, the game crashes to the point you have to delete your save file. BEWARE!!!

This is a really fun dungeon crawler with a decent story and voice acting. It’s got a bit of a learning curve figuring out how all the mechanics work.. especially when you start working with larger covens. The game gives you walkthroughs while you play, but if you skip past it you’re out of luck as you can’t review tutorials from what I’ve seen… One of the down falls of this game generation omitting all manuals I guess.

If you like the old first person dungeon crawlers this is a game for you.
pros- Funny story
– Little twists on the old formula
– system makes you want to make new fighters ( and you will need to!)
Cons- Take a bit to unlock some features like unsealing “identifying items” so you will have a lot of junk sealed items by the time u get it.

Modern attempt at classic 1st point of view dungeon crawler,with cute anime-like graphics, and fully dubbed (In English, but also provides Japanese voice-over) voice, this is a quite the gem.
Story line is interesting, and I can see they have put a lot of thoughts into game-plays too: that it is not overly complicated, but not shallow either.
There is some Adult theme to this game, so not for younger gamer – but if you are an adult who enjoy Anime, dungeon crawler, and some challenging but fun game play, this is an excellent edition to your Switch game library.

Fantastically deep and fun gameplay if you like dungeon crawlers and/or Shin Megami Tensei games. I love building up my little army of puppets, it’s very engaging. The characters are complex and interesting, especially Dronya, who would have turned me into a lesbian if I wasn’t one already. Be warned that the story contains a LOT of verbal child abuse and implications of harassment/assault (including a fairly explicit assault scene early on with Dronya and the nun). As I got deeper into the story I was shocked to find that these things were actually handled quite well in the backstory and in deeper parts of the plot, and the relationship dynamics that you think exist early on are… very different in the end. Ultimately it’s a very odd but enjoyable story about love and grief and the lengths people will go to in order to be with the people they love.

I had never heard of this title before I purchased this and is incredibly under rated. I can’t believe I got this for $20. The art is incredible and the game mechanics are brilliant. The story is a bit lewd at times but that’s what you get with M games. Cannot recommend this enough to fans of Etrian Odyssey, very similar dungeon style game with puzzles, map making, level grinding and FOEs, with perhaps a more engaging storyline.

Divertido dungeon crawler con la formula que caracteriza a nippon ichi si te gusta el humor de disgaea te lo recomiendo, apenas tengo unas horas jugandolo pero puedo decir que si te gustan juegos como demon gaze o shin megami tensei strange journey, este juego te gustara.
